I want to put in my thanks to Lorenzo for being our wedding photographer. Not only are his photo's tip top, but the service we received was second to none. Lorenzo puts in a lot of effort and makes sure that everything runs smoothly for you from the minute you book him right through to delivery of photos. We have a really amazing set of wedding photos in a documentary style which is what we wanted and now we feel we can live the day over and over just by looking through our wonderful collection of images. On the day Lorenzo worked very hard from start to finish and at some points our guests thought there were actually 2 photographers as he got round so many of them and amazingly he remembered everybody's names, including strange Chinese ones! I want to add my thanks to Emete for making my wedding cake. We had the dragon and pheonix one which you can find above in the posts. It was absolutely delicious and we had a gluten free chocolate tier for the people who could not eat wheat flour. Absolutely everything from first meeting to help designing and finally completing and even delivering our cake was absolutely spot on. I felt very stress free knowing Emete was making my cake and all of our guests love it. There definitely was plenty to go round. I'll be going back for any other large cake needs that I have in future. Thanks Em and thanks for taking so much time and care with our wedding cake. You're a star. xx

Dish and Spoon are not open on a Monday and I think rest of week open at 0900 - and I would not say they are quiet - lots of Mums and kids. I've tried to work in there on mornings and it's crazy some days. Nice if you have kids. They won an award for being kid friendly and it's definitely geared towards Mums. Hopscotch in Honor Oak Park is quiet but gets busy as it's small. The Actress has always been quiet when I've been in but not sure what time opening is at. And they do good pots of tea. (I'm not a coffee lover). AJ

Advocate does more than just fleas - probably why it is a little bit more expensive but I feel its reliable. One of our cats gets a skin reaction to some bites which we are not sure of even though she has not got fleas and this is the only product that calms her skin down and helps her. I think it also treats worms too and it also treats ear mites. A good all in one. AJ

I also recommend John Powers. He was very honest and reliable with what we needed when we had some plumbing problems last year and very informative on some aspects that you can deal with yourself. It's always nice to know the workmen you invite to your home care about the job and not just the money then can make. And if I remember correctly he came out to us a short notice and was flexible with times. AJ

Hi all I just want to recommend Lorenzo as the best photographer in Dulwich. We selected Lorenzo as our wedding photographer some time ago and the big day is still a few weeks away. He really does put you at ease and, as his website suggests he really does work discreetly in a friendly relaxed manner and he definitely has creativity, style, humour and expertise. What about the P4? If you are not close to the route then it goes right by North Dulwich station which is only one stop from East Dulwich if you are close to there?? I don't know if that would be quicker than the 37 though.

I recently had my bridal trial with Amanda and I have to say she really just knows how to get the best out of you! She understood what I wanted and was able to show me lots of hair styles and changed my makeup around until I was happy and her personality is great. I cannot wait for the big day now as Amanda knows how to make you feel relaxed whilst giving a top quality service.
