Lots of building work happening again in the old Ludlow rental site. There seems to be a new bar or counter installed to the rear so this still could be a bookies or a cafe' style place. It's unclear.

It is ashame that the quality of food at the Cabin has been going downhill recently. I found it to be excellent up until the last two times where the meat has been very chewy. Maybe somebody should finally point them to this thread for feedback. Another local restaurant owner said to me it is because they keep changing chefs ( just like another local place , TPC). That is probably just propaganda though. -

Thank you for your advice on footie BB. I have a friend that attends everyweek at Hillsong and she loves it and seems perfectly ok. She has made lots of friends from going there too, just to let you know.

Blimey BB, i didn't know any of that. It was just a one off for me but it felt good and was worth the visit.

It may be church rebranded but if it makes people feel good and feel better then so be it. I attended the Dominion Theatre on Tottenham Court Rd with forumite friends just for the fun of it on a Sunday afternoon and witnessed thousands of people bonding and happy clappping and meeting up afterwards at AllBarOne round the corner, they do this every Sunday. No ripoff charges, just donations in a basket if one wants to give. I was sceptical too at the start but came out with a positive charge. Great concert and music and no heavy christian preaching. So i agree with legaleagle-ish, just give something like this a try if you want. Nothing to lose

Honaloochie, give the lad a break for a few days, this weekend LL will be lit up with plackards and posters. He will need to save his energy.

Oh come on now KK, this is just done in jest :p -
This is a no brainer.

Hey Luv, there should also be " stop the CAD" placards going up and down LL on a Saturday afternoon. It is simply not enough. Maybe warning t-shirts too with his picture on distributed at every pub in Dulwich. I hope that Bounder feels the love from his fellow forumite friends ;-) Get on here boy. Me anon? No way, LuvPeckham has got my number-> the unstoppable sex machine

We have discussed this lots Tony, the councillors even started a questionnaire and The forums ADMIN team had an online survey too ( courtesy of Huguenot i think). Marmora Man has the answer.
-
Hi Matt, if you don't fancy eating lunch at home you could always try Green and Blue at the lower end of LL. Different but good.

Miles, i think generally people are thinking you will be spoilt for choice so don't forget to take some friends along that are single of course, you wouldn't want to disappoint the ladies of ED now. -
Hey multisync, Declan and Lorna are married now if you didn't know.
-
Maybe they only want the home phone no. to see if people are in? Obvious init.

My source tells me that the co-op pharmacy may not have their lease renewed due to a rental price hike to 50k p.a. so this would mean that they do not own the freehold and they would go but i could be wrong too. Macy's did a brilliant deal and at the right peak time selling the business and property to Lloyds Pharmacy for 2.5m a little while ago, again i could be wrong, you know, sources, landlords, that sort of thing.
