I second what you say keef about abuse etc. The amount of blood, vomit, chilli and salad strewn all over the pavement on that strech got a bit much at times. Kebab and wine will have more of that now no doubt. I am glad to see that Yilmaz has finally just gotten rid of those gold christmas trees from the new sides window.

I agree with Kel on this. The council lorries that empty glass recycling bins at 7 am, delivery lorries etc etc all make a terrible racket and all before 8am. I hope Nero stays, they may be a huge corporation but the staff there are great friendly and funny and the space allows for parents to meet and take their kiddies somewhere. Nero should just alter the aircon if that what it takes. Councillors reading this thread, do whats right for the whole and allow them to stay please. Anyway thats my opinion.

This place has a seperate entrance and its purpose it to be a waiting area/bar for Hisar so punters don't have to be sent to the Bishop for drinks then phoned up when there is space free in the restaurant. The guy will be taking down a structural wall to the front of the shop, thats why no sign has been put up and the place isn't used properly just yet.

Yes Kel, that music shop would be fab. The Lingerie shop that was at William Rose was run by the guys wife that makes windows to the rear of William Rose but apparently it was not well stocked and consistent and that's why it didn't survive. An Ann Summers would be great. As to having a demand for another estate agent and deli/organic veg shop? , Kel. We'll see if they will survive. I am pretty sure SMBS and pretty Traditional will not be too happy about another organic veg shop.

Well, the six units on that strip was purchased by a jewish investor nearly two years ago now i think. The old tyre shop will be another yes ANOTHER organic fruit and veg shop with a deli ( as if we haven't got enough of them in the area). The chicken shop will be a bakery and one of the other units is going to be another estate agents . East Dulwich amazes me, its like a race between the gift shops, indian restaurants and estate agents ( not to mention the bookies). Why can't more original ideas come in. Saying that I have heard there will be a Lingerie shop opening up soon too. Now that's a good idea IMO.
