  1. Des painted 2 large rooms for us recently. The Jonny he did was perfect, but most importantly he did a number of extra finishing touches that meant he put an extra day of work in that I wouldn?t have known to ask for. Everything was clean, tidy and the finish was great. Will definitely be using his services again.
  2. Richard painted a whole flat for me a couple of weeks ago. He stepped in at the last minute when 2 painters let me down - one only letting me know on the day he was supposed to start. His quote was reasonable, speed of work great (he did the job in 6 days on his own , vs the other estimate of at least 10 days), and quality impeccable. I'll definitely be using him again. His number is 07984 146615.
  3. I have a nice mountain buggy duet that I am thinking about selling - i found it perfect as can get around a lot easier than you imagine in a double - it also has a carrycot attachment - let me know i you want to look at it!
  4. My company used Robin at a 2 day event to photograph a conference and take corporate headshots of around 100 people. He was fantastic at organising us all as well as very efficient, took some great reportage shots we used on our intranet site to promote the event, and everyone was super pleased with their corporate headshots (taken primarily to be used internally) - so much so I keep seeing updates to linkedin with their new favourite photo! Our comms team also raved about him. Would definitely recommend!
  5. Hi there, another latecomer to the thread - I am due with my second on 26thnovember. Are ere any others with other children who would be up for a kid friendly meet up - wish I was still able to go to a nice coffee shop like the old days but unfortunately my rather energetic 2.5 year old has other ideas and I rally need somewhere where he can run around and or play - son was thinking perhaps a park meet or at a toddler class or Zoe,thing similar? Would love to hear from any others in the same position as me!
  6. HI there We have friends with kids coming up for the weekend and had grand plans of taking them to the sandpit in Brockwell park etc. Now the weather is not looking so good any ideas for nearish by entertainment - kids aged 2-3. thanks A
  7. Last time I tried to go into Chandelier they refused me and my friend entry as they already had the one pushchair spot allocated... I wondered why it was always half empty compared to Lucas - I guess that's the price you pay in ED - no children = no customers!
  8. Yeah think this is a great idea! My Mum is doing TUesday and WEdnesdays though so wont cross over with yours Paps - but Im sure if we get enough of us then we can find cross overs when our Mums are here!
  9. I second Elizabeth Arden - or if you dont want to get the hand cream just ge tthe straight 8 hour cream - in my opinion this is miracle stuff and will sort out any dry skin, minor eczema etc literally overnight
  10. How bizarre - my mum was up last week and I was suggesting just the same thing - she is looking after my (then) 8 month old from October for 2 days a week - she wants stuff to do but doesnt want to stick out like a sore thumb, so I have been trying to convince her that there are a fair few grannys looking after little ones in ED. Perhaps we should put them in contact with one another, as I think as soon as there is more than one of them going to caterpillar music or whatever it may be, they will feel less conspicuous!

  12. The photo on the right is of a card skimmer (see the next message). I used this machine in November with that device on the slot. I didn't think about it until my card was in and I'd entered my pin. Looking more closely at the decorative strip at the top of the ATM, I found a small hole. I gave the strip a bit of a shake and it came away in my hand. There was a skype phone hidden inside transmitting a video call of the pins that were being entered. I took the phone and decorative strip home - the police came round and collect it but I haven't heard anything since so presumably no useful fingerprints etc.
  13. I've got a direct train from Tulse Hill in the past...
