I think that was George W Bush actually, but don't let facts get in the wa of bullshit

  3. I would rather suck a thistle than embrace Cameron and his right wing cabinet.
  4. Grant won't stay at Pompey without assurances about future and he aint gonna get them. We are preparing to say goodbye to him on Saturday - watch out for something a bit special. As a manager and a man of integrity - he is THE best in the business. Villa in for him also!
  5. Def should have been Hodgson.
  6. We just went for it one night and it worked fine. We always pop in to make sure he os covered up but rarely is it a problem.
  7. Hope they used up all their goals yesterday!

    Memorials

Hmmmmm thanks for the relationship advise. Just think it is sad that the memorial looks so tatty now. Not IMO abfitting tribute to the loss of a life. 9. Find it hard to argue with the will of the people. Although some here are trying. Fucking typical of East Dulwich that!

I agree. And, if the country democratically votes for a hung parliament then the smug politicians on all sides will just have to get on with it. How dare they treat the electorate as deluded fools. If we vote for a hung parliament then we will get one and it will be up to the politicians to make it work. Party politics is quickly becoming far to similar to the X Factor!

Could save some time Not with a toddler and 3 suitcases! ;) If that first train is running then I am fine. It seems that people are saying it normally runs so.....

    Memorials

Over the weekend, my wife said exactly the same thing as MM is saying. We decided however that if we went to take down the flowers, some oversensitive type would take offence and accuse us of being unfeeling (or worse). How a load of dried up dead flowers, soggy rain soaked teddy bears and a mush of paper is a fitting tribute to a life tragically lost is beyond me. Would I want a loved one to be "remembered" by this compost? No! Not often I agree with MM! :)
  13. Thanks - as long as it is reeliable then we will be ok. Check in opens at 7:30. Have been waiting for an early train before though and it was cancelled - called a taxi but they could not get us anywhere near Gatwick cos of traffic - nightmare - want to avois this scenario with toddler in tow! Thanks - esp to Nicko - I will be on the 6:12 from ED with my fingers crossed!
  14. I really want the journey to be as easy as possible as I am travelling with a toddler. Also, we live next to ED station.
  15. Just wondered if anyone has experience of the first morning train from ED to LB? I have tried to get early morning trains before and they have often been cancelled - is this one reliable? Have to get to Gatwick for 7am Weds!
  16. Congrats on staying up ???s. Hope it works out for West Ham next season!! PUP!
  17. Cameron loves the poor - here he is slumming it with some of his hard up mates! http://thequintessential.files.wordpress.com/2009/02/bullingdon-club.jpg

  20. nothing concrete and any web links on forums are quickly being taken down by administrators. I am saying nothing more!
  21. WHHHOOOAAAHHHH!! Naughty Stevie Gerrard. Looks like that's the end of him in the UK! Think Graham Rix!

The woman that played Veronica used to be seen in Sainsbury's quite a lot!
  23. As things stand we are ubnlikely to even be playing next season. However, the cynic in me thinks the FA made this decision as Liverpool are likely to finish 7th!
  24. Many East Europeans are exploited horribly by gang masters and many have resorted to squatting due to extremely low income.Non violently and politely I must add. Another option I have seen a lot is three to a rented room sleeping in rotation. Not many homeless services for them at the moment. Some repatriation services for those for whom the move to the uk did not work out. Many have not got too much recourse to services. Minimum wage is hardly going to apply sadly.
  25. It's fantastic. Come on in.
