  1. The officers sit in a room with a red pencil and draw lines on a map. Post a piece of paper on a lamp post and hope no one noticed what is happening Local pressure groups badger Cllrs and the thing gets passed. Most locals have no idea it happens. Join a local green or cycling pressure group and find out. Any thoughts on my comment made earlier on 11th December. Not surprised

If one takes the time to read the official Southwark report on safety for this junction as mentioned by hopskip you might draw a different conclusion regarding safety. Maps show all Please read and ask why?
  3. This consultation is as useful as a condom with the top cut off. Thus junction has been there since my childhood perhaps people should grow up and use common sense. It seems that new imports have a very silly and precious view of life that is silly. Use common sense.

  7. Has Cllr Barber requested this report as mention in an earlier post on the 6th December

  9. Do these coaches actually block the junction and block the view of traffic? Common sense is needed which seems to be badly lacking.
  10. The teachers have always parked close to the school without any problems. The junction has always been there and there has always been a right turn. Most older established residents have always managed to use this junction safely. What has changed apart from a silly plan from Southwark Council. Which opinion has shown to be against it. Leave in peace For cyclists the option is to dismount if they fear they are in danger.

    Chippy

    Agreed. Still a local place
  12. But it always puddles there whenever it rains. Protecting properties just clean the drains and sewers

  17. I took the train to LB and looked at this proposed route, think it is a pipe dream in someone's imagination. Cannot see how it will be possible. May look good always on paper but reality is some what different. Street performers, micro food stores ?
  18. If I was this 13 year old it would confirm th?t Many adults are real ars.holes.
  19. Would removing the benches outside the pub also be on the agenda? Clearing up the visual mess. Parked cycles are move of an eyesore
  20. Moving vehicles of all types The road Pedestrians The pavement Crossing the road. Eyes left and right and common sense from all. Pedestrians and vehicle owners Not difficult to understand

This exchange was suggested at the very start of this thread Perhaps the residents of Ed with the perhaps backing of Cllr Barber could extend the hand of friendship and and put in place a relocation plan that makes sure all those displaced would be offered any empty shops on LL at affordable rents Why should Peckham have all these wonderful businesses LL does lack Nailshops. hair extension shops opened fronted meat and fish shops and masses of rubbish. This could turn LL in a shopping destination Peckham residents need better.
