  1. I think Lowlander wrote that only 2 shopkeepers were asked...is that really enough to conclude that this 'cult' is being protected???
  2. When I first read that quote, I thought it was more of a definition for a secret society (and I was tempted to post that!), however, I decided it best not to give anyone any ideas. I wouldn't want The Grand Master to get involved...
  3. I thought the car colours joke was funny, but I do have a sense of humour. Thank you for starting this thread. You certainly aren't alone in your experience. FYI: We support diversity, so we have a black and a white car.
  4. I'm sorry for what happened; I can imagine it was very frightening. I suspect they did want your bicycle. There are more and more reports of this happening. Do try not to think of what might have been: you are safe now. I hope you have enough emotional support and comfort at home. I wish you well.
  5. They aren't an individual, so I hardly think "public humiliation" is fitting here. It might be worth asking about this odour. It doesn't seem natural. I'm not a customer, however, as I don't like their bread.

Given your > earlier post that some pretty good hypocrisy. My earlier post wasn't directed at one particular person, nor was it to continue to go off topic, as you have. There is such a thing as literally ignoring people. Might you try it? (I sent you a private message by mistake as clicked the wrong part of the screen).

  8. I think even if people use their "real name", they still feel more comfortable expressing online what they wouldn't do so comfortably in person. I also think that if people don't like being judged on what they express online, they should be mindful of what they write online. I am a firm believer in what you say/write being a reflection of you. Sometimes we are less than eloquent online. Forums aren't what they used to be, however, it is 2018 afterall...
  9. I think the "sinister look" is a clear indication of his guilt.
  10. Hello everyone. It is quite shocking reading, and it is very sad to read of people feeling unsafe outside their home. I know it isn't in this area, but I came across these posts on another forum for South West London. A man who was mugged at knife point in front of his children (the criminal was on a motorbike): https://nappyvalleynet.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=97698&sid=0faa0677cb929385c9ad26c4abd74a7c. What do you think of a 'private security team'? I know in some areas (abroad) they have them, probably here in the UK as well, but it seems costly if only few people contribute...
