Wanted - someone to build bike shed for front Garden
Rhinestone Cowboy replied to Susan's topic in The Family Room Discussion
I'd like to recommend Martin Terebessy for landscaping work. He recently completed work in our front garden which included paving, building a wall and a lovely hardwood bike/bin store. We put a Green roof on the top. I was really impressed with his work. Very friendly, efficient and he quoted a fair price. He does, decking, paving, brickwork, fencing, lawns - including artificial grass. Pretty much everything except for planting. His details are as follows Mobile: 07514 045 390 Email [email protected] -

Have yet to order the sedum trays but from web this is what I got So the sedeum tray is already made up you just need an upstand around the perimeter of the area you intend to use Give them a call very helpful so far Farm office: 01747 830176 Email: [email protected] Guide to installing your S-Pod Module or Sedum Tray Preparation 1. Unpack and water S-Pods/Sedum Trays on arrival. 2. Make sure you have an upstand around the perimeter of the area you intend to use. This can be an aluminium trim which we can supply or something of your own choice. 3. Clear area where you intend to use the S-Pods/Sedum Trays. 4. Make sure there is an adequate waterproof membrane and root barrier on the roof before you commence laying the S.Pods/Sedum Green Trays. 5. Set up ladders or platforms for easy and safe access to the roof. 6. Click the S-Pods/Sedum Trays together in a row. Start from the lower edge, or the initial edge that is to be seen. Any cuts can then be made in area out of sight. 7. Each S-Pod/Sedum Tray has a lip which clicks on the top of the next one, alternatively. 8. S-Pods or Trays can be cut with a grinder or similar tool. Face any cuts so they are not seen from the edge, i.e. on the inside edge. Alternatively, fill any gaps with pebbles which we can also supply. Over time the sedum will grow over the edges and soften the appearance, they will intertwine and no edges of the S-Pods will be seen.

Motorcycle theft Peckham Rye
Rhinestone Cowboy replied to Peckham Rye LPT's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Just to add to this.. Lock ye bike to something, anything otherwise they will just lift into a van and be off in 30 seconds. Last two bikes ( one at home other in Regent street ) were stolen this way. Ground anchors are the way to go but not everyone has space for these -
Still looking for that late surge... 4th Place would make me smile

Thefts of mopeds/scooters
Rhinestone Cowboy replied to Peckham Rye LPT's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Sorry to hear about bikes being stolen. In 4 years I have had two bikes stolen, one attempted theft and a front wheel stolen. So I now park on driveway with ground anchor and D-Lock through front wheel and CCTV that covers the area I use Almax ground anchor and chain http://www.almax-security-chains.co.uk/index.asp?pg=1 It has been almost one year since last theft and can only assume its because of the ground anchor/cctv I am lucky that I can park using ground anchor otherwise I would look into tracker/alarm If its not bolted down two guys can pick up scooter and load into a van in about 30 seconds and then work on any locks you have. -
Looking for a late surge into the top 3
