    When you marry a bit later in life though, and almost all your mates have kids, at something like 3 years of age they are considered a "full" head in terms of the costing from caterers. With not unlimited budget its either a few mates with their children as they have lots. This then means a lot of pals can't come as not affordable.

    Always find pub crawls if over ambitious a bit of chore*. Just as I get settled, fancy another pint the cry goes up, " We are moving on" By pub 3 a breakaway group has formed and we all meet up at the last boozer on list. 3 or 4 pubs Max for me these days, with a couple of hours in one over lunch. Sorted. Enjoy your Birthday pub crawl wherever you go KM. *see also fancy dress parties.

    I always smile when Louisa a says she's been on the juice and is off her face in Kebab and Wine. Don't know why, just always have. Wouldn't mind getting on the juice with Louisa if truth be told. Think I may have said that before.

    Late receipt requesters for piddly amounts of money. After till closes, "Oh, can I have a receipt for that packet of chewing gum". We all wait as the till is fumbled with several times, then the tiny piece of paper that bears the legend 77p is found and exchanged. Ask up front if you need a receipt for this PLEASE...
