Yes, I've been places where they have said they can't do rare and cook them well done only. Can't recall where that was now. I've just had a burger at work as there is a farmers market every Tuesday. Didn't ask for it rare but it was when I bit into it. That's how I like them but others maybe not so much.

It's my go to place once John Lewis beats me.... Anyhow, trying to get back on topic. Had a steak up The Shard last week (Shangri La) pricey but nice and tasted better as Brother in law paid as a rare treat...Was a huge lump of meat.

Scotland for The Calcutta Cup...

Kefalonia, fiscardo was lovely. Nice harbour with restaurants etc. V popular with Italians and mainland Greeks. Some nice small beaches but bit pebbley. August was searingly hot. The super yachts of the rich and famous Moor there. Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen were apparently on the big yachts when I was there.
