  4. wHEN YOU HAVE THE CAPS LOCK ON. mAY HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT AND THEN YOU TYPE A LONG SENTENCE. lOOK UP, AND aaaaaaRGH. That really makes me want to take a sledge hammer to my keyboard. Guess not a problem for the touch typers out there, but I stare at my keyboard as I type occaisionally looking up. Twice today this has happened.
  5. Inside 72 right there: "So, being sat at a bar completely wired, having not been to sleep when the pub opens on a Saturday" Otta Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Actually SJ, seeing you here has reminded me of a > decadent night. > > So, being sat at a bar completely wired, having > not been to sleep when the pub opens on a > Saturday. > > > > God I miss my 20s.
  6. Danish Detective programmes (SkandiNoir?)
  7. IM overegging my French Toast, which I fry with a couple rashers for my Saturday brekkie. Could account for the extra couple pounds this week. Forcing myself to get out and trot round the park tonight. Hhaaaaaaaaaard. 8. Dun, what route did you take. I'd do that a lot more in the summer if it only took me 40 mins to Victoria. I live on Peckham Rye. By the time i walk to Peckham Rye staion, wait for a train and get into Victoria a 40 minute walk on a bright morning sounds great. 9. I think that I may overhydrate. 10. 3 jogs round the rye RD, you could be right. Muscle build up (or the last of the xmas chocolate, roll and sausage at the Hamlet game, 5 pints and a scampi supper on,the way home!) Reckon it?s a slow burner and I will see improved results by next Mondays weigh in. Perseverance and mental toughness, that?s all that?s required! red devil Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Have you been excercising H-M-B?...muscle weighs > heavier than fat ;-)
  11. Put on 2lbs! it MUST be the scales.
  12. Thanks LB. A well written and easy to understand summary (for me anyway). legalbeagle Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Otta - It's not that most student sex is rape. > It's that there is a point of drunkenness, at > which a person is no longer able to give consent, > and that point will vary from person to person. > > It's your obligation to have a reasonable belief > that the person you are having sex with is > consenting to it. > > Where they are drunk, and there is no other > information to go on - eg you know them well, they > are your girlfriend, you've had sex before, they > went on a date with you and came back to your room > - then it is harder for you to establish a > reasonable belief that they consented to sex when > drunk. > > I suspect this is why the man who had sex with > Evans's victim first was not convicted - there was > additional evidence as to her and his state of > mind that lead the court to think she did consent. > The fact that they went on a date, both drank lots > voluntarily, she agreed to go back to his room, > they went through the hotel public entrances etc. > (I'm not saying that doing all of this with a > person means they cannot rape you, just that it is > evidence adduced in court to establish your state > of mind and whether it was reasonable to think you > had consented). > > With Evans it was sneak in, shag, hide on the way > out. 13. Sieves and cheers graters also on the un washable list. Think that's about it, surely no more troublesome utensils exist? Although spud peelers at times drive me nuts.
  14. Washing up a potato masher (see also garlic press)
  15. Run number 2 tonight. Struggling to avoid mid afo snacks, and 4 grapes with some bird seed just aint cutting it for me. Starving already and still a while till home time! Wont revisit the scales till Monday - to be disappointed no doubt!
  16. The Vine Yard for reasonable (taste and price) Greek Cypriot grub.
  17. 16.00hrs munchies gripping. My wee pot of nuts and 5 grapes was tanked about an hour ago. Resisting the urge to go and get a Crunchie form the shop. Hold...hold...hold...
  18. Work breeks on for the first time in 2 weeks this morning. Tight to say the least. Hopped on the scales and my unreliable set have me at 13.12.8. If I move them to another location I can knock half a stone off that! Im going for the stone as quickly as possible to get back to my fighting weight again of around 13.0.0. (will use scales in same location as this mornings weigh-in) Cut out the fizzy drinks and crisps, and start my run round Peckham Rye park from tonight, do that till end of January then introduce some short sprints into the mix. Twice per week and a game of squash in between, end of Feb hope to be there or there about.
  19. ARGOS, Rye Lane.
  20. Shakin Stevens and me share a birthday as well as a penchant for Double-D. All deccies down now. The metaphorical Christmas cheese cracker is almost completely nibbled and back to work tomorrow having been off since 19th. Booooooooooo
