  1. "I'll cheer him fir playing well" You see Otta, the Murray effect is taking grip - said like a true Scotsman. Amazing day yesterday. Just wish it was Saturday, after the Lions Game. Dont think i would have been allowed out again for the rest of the year though!
  2. Occasions like these Numbers, only the glass bottle will do. I don't quite know what to with myself and wish it was Saturday!
  3. Yasssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
  4. EDT, The Rye and Actress. Good options all of em.
  5. Yasssss ya danca. Sunday now, going to be close. Backing Murray (unsurprisingly)
  6. The Barry Barry Amble...you never leave. MrBen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > This is turning into a decent amble! > > I will be there but have to leave to get to Hyde > Park later on for the Olding Bones.
  7. Great stuff. I always knew them Bears would make their way home. 6 years on the bounce now. Tremendous. I look forward to seeing them and you next Saturday for a pint or two. Sun always shines when the Barry Bears come out.
  8. Reminded me of The Timewasters Letters (which I picked up from a wall on Peckham rye). Brilliant wee read.
  9. I see, I only go onto Twitter for the tennis "commentary" from Niven and Welsh, dont see the other stuff. DJKQ: Think Henman was more than a jobbing pro. 4 grand slam semis, upto 4 in world at one point I think, ?7m in winnings and several ATP tourney wins. Id call a jobbing pro somebody who is around 25-35 in world, gets into the third round of tourneys, and has a once in a lifetime game knocking out a top 5 to get to the quarters of a slam once or twice in that time. Still make a packet of $$ all the same. (The above was done from the top of my head without wiki so may be some innacuracies in the detail) ETA: cross post with TM numbers Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Help-Ma-Boab Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Never unfollow nivenj1 numbers. 10. Jings, crivens and help-Ma-boab...Git in there.
  11. Unlike Loch Lomond Golf Club - The Barry Barry amble accepts visitors. Bring em along. ETA: will stop hijacking SJ thread now - see youse next Saturday Lasers set tae AMBLE. 12. He wasn't at the first Lions Test (eta MrB, not ????)
  13. Siduhe, thats amazing. Thanks. I do recall the chants of USA, USA, USA when dooking for apples at the finish last year! Im thinking The Barry Bear may be lost....but I always have faith. Sure be quite a thing if Barry and Barriet were together on the amble and testament to the competitors in the BBRR that year on year we find them again. Siduhe Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > We're trying to retrieve Barriet from her > transatlantic temporary home - watch this > space...hoping to get it done in time.
  14. It would be nice to have The Barry Bears with us.... Calling, Calling...Anybody know the whereabouts of them there Bears? Amazingly in 5 years they have never gone missing and make their way home even though we never know who actually has them! Michael Palaeologus Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Will Barry and Barriet be making a special > appearance?
  15. Where we once ran, we now amble. Never had a bad meal in Locale but was nothing great. Had a great ED Xmas lunch there once, but that was a more liquid based affair. 16. This chap, Keith Meisner ran the 2010 Barry Barry Road Race...tenuous local connection to get behind Murray! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-23061405
  17. Never unfollow nivenj1 numbers. He was on blistering form for Murrays last match. Beat Irvine Welsh comprehensively. Still, world number 1 and 2 remain in the tourney and a few toughies enroute to the final for Murray. One game at a time. numbers Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > time to follow nivenj1 again I s'pose.
