    Good Luck Keef

All the best and sincere congratulations to you both.
  3. In 1979, there was a house on sale for ?18,000 in De/D'? Beauvoir Road - but the ?26,000 one on Friern Road, clinched it for my brother-in-law - who was an Islington boy, born and bred. Once he crossed the river and saw the delights of East Dulwich, he was hooked.

Well, this is where I was taken - as confirmed by my mum and I was given an x-ray, too.
  5. Many years ago, I remember the ambulance taking me to the casualty department of Dulwich Hospital. It was all rather vague and all I can remember is a small room, where I was treated. This was the early 1980's. Has my memory served me well and does anyone else have any memories of our long lost Hospital?

  7. Just caught the 'First Direct' advertisment on tv and I'm sure the guy in the white suit (who, also, played a foreign diplomat in 'The Bill' a few weeks back) used to go jogging in Peckham Park. He used to cross over to the Rye, where the big houses are. Does he still live around here?

  9. Mr Flynn, he of 'The Bill', being driven in a car with his actress partner, on Sunday evening.
  10. Thank you all for your suggestions but my mate Nico has named them, Pereguine, Sabastian and Tarquine.
  11. Emily's are the tops - Britania, not so good and, as for Sea Cow, hmm?
  12. Good 'ol George Bush and his administration are calling on Turkey to refrain from crossing the boarder into Iraq, to try and flush out the PKK, who have been waging a war of terror for many years. A true example of Do As I Say, Not As I Do?

  16. Apparently, the Costcutter staff came under attack by some youths, who had been in the shop and then started throwing things at those inside. Don't know if they were up to no good and got caught out and then came back, but the place was swarming with police. Anyone know what happened?
  17. Costcutter, opposite Dulwich Library, police and young thugs throwing things in to the shop?
  18. My cats equate cat litter tray with poo/wee - and come in from outside to use it. It's like they save it all up, just for me to clean up - that's if you can, actually, get them to go outside. Mind you, it's the foxes who leave their deposits all over the place and the squirrels who like to dig up the garden. But they're all so cute.
