  1. Regarding pursuing a thief, I have seen a thief being chased so joined in - the thief was cornered and caught, and stolen items retrieved. But even in a group you never know what weapon(s) might be involved or whether there's a team of criminals ready to step in. So it's a big risk!
  2. You could always take them to the Middle East - that's where they come from after all.
  3. Pyromania
  4. Did this 2 months ago - was surprised to see the surveyor value as high as he/she did. I wouldn't pay too much attention to Zoopla tbh as there are some wildly inaccurate figures amongst the sensible ones. It's too easy for punters to doctor the Zoopla estimates anyway, and the estimate always appear to be out of date. Prices have come down in part due to Brexit which is probably a good thing if you're thinking long term, but if you're keen to know then get three agents round to value (real visits not desktop valuations) and don't choose the usual suspects as some will be too optimistic even if you're clear with them you'er not selling. They shouldn't mind doing the ground work for free given you will probably sell some day.
  5. Yes they helped me quit. I am a keen vaper now and enjoy all the benefits of vaping over smoking. Having tried patches, gum and willpower I kept slipping back to ciggies but can now say confidently that I very rarely fancy a smoke these days. I use these https://www.geekvape.com/project/aegis/ Took me a while to find the kit I was happy with but these are great and I have two. I now have more pocket money, don't stink of smoke, have more time, and better health; skin, teeth, lost a little weight due to exercising again, sleep better, etc. It'd be silly to crack down on vaping if it meant people reverted to smoking...
  6. Press have been hanging around Brunswick Park for several weeks now. I haven't seen the man himself though.
  7. Seems that foxes are out in force at the moment. We had two happy and healthy looking specimens in the garden this morning.
  8. "Shoes! Clothes!" is the usual response I get from these people upon challenging. Not sure where they come from but they appear to be Roma people. Papers/bills/statements are what they tend to stash in their trolleys - not shoes or clothes. I always shout at them which momentarily deters their behaviour until they go round the corner. They're usually in pairs, mostly women but sometimes young men on their own. And yes, it's my refuse but that doesn't mean it belongs to them. Scummers!
