Agreed there Keef, I love train travel, its actually ludicrous to think you can fly somewhere a whole lot cheaper than training it. My daughter wanted to do abit of europassing this summer but couldnt afford it and is having to fly!!

Just to bring this one up top again. What do you think of a book swap shop at the next EDF drink. Serves a few purposes in that newcomers will recognise a table laden with books, it could be an ice-breaker(although in my experience one isnt needed), and we all go home with a little treat.

Thats not a bad idea Asset. Sounds quite fair. Although those that HAVE to fly for work would need to be an exception.

My family drive to Italy all the time, twice as expense as flying it must be said. It must also be said that this isnt because we are thoroughly green, its because I cant fly!

Am a Vanessa fan in the morning, just weaning myself off of XFM (gone down the pan), Friday evenings I love abit of Essential Mix on Radio One, and you cant beat abit o the ole Magic on a Sunday to get you into a nostalgic mood.
