  1. I agree MelbourneGr to a point and don't believe in giving it away cheaply but this was a fairly long term relationship!
  2. Just finished Sebastian Faulks, Human Traces......pretty heavy going but interesting subject matter. I am now embarking on The Catastrophist by Ronan Bennett as recommended by my daughter.
  3. I personally said it wasn't my cup of tea but good luck to them. I also think that MOST people put their honest opinions on here without witch picking. You will always get people who seem to be abit too harsh but there seem to be quite a few forumites that turned up to give it a fair crack of the whip but unfortunately a fair few didn't rate it too highly!! As I said earlier I believe the early to late twenties will be their main market but they won't be able to keep them if they take the piss with the drinks being watered down.
  4. Do you not think it's fair to comment when the drinks were watered down Mr Estate Agent. And yes, it was pointed out to the guys on the night.
  5. If they are anything like the mojitos Asset you'll be very disappointed I'm afraid! I think this place will survive if they aim for the young 'uns, but they seriously need to sort this weak drink malarkey out as people won't be taken the pee out of for too long.
  6. I take it that your statement " I was waiting for the wedding night.........." means you hadn't had any major loving?!. After three years???? That's all rather sweet but come on man, she was probably getting desperate no!::o
  7. Lol Keef.....that's my take on too:))
  8. Stayed for a couple of watered down Mojitos, not really my scene to be honest but good luck to them.
  9. In Italy they eat pecorino with a dark marmalade. Mmmmmmm
  10. Yes they are Keef, I've seen the spec and they look pretty fab internally. They're also very reasonable. Might look at a bigger one for myself once I've got this house shifted.
  11. Thats true. Even the start with the naked lady dancing in the fire used to send a tingle down my spine.
  12. He's certainly strapping and when you're having to command a company of 300 Spartans you'd have to do alot of shouting surely. Do give it a go, and make sure Mrs Keef watches it too, she might find it erm, worth the watch.;-)
  13. I dont think theyre talking about those flats bren. These arent new, they look sort of 70's. Not terribly attractive I must say but apparently pretty big and airy inside with amazing views of the city funnily enough!
  14. My cousin has just put in an offer for a flat in the above. Anyone know of these flats? Would be great to offer her some of your viewpoints. Thanks
  15. I remember as a kid being terrified of Edgar Allan Poe films. Particularly The House of Usher (Nicolas) and The Pit and the Pendulum.
  16. Hats off to you WQ.
  17. Thanks Keef. I could actually watch 300 every week the cinematography (sp) is stunning. And the leading man would be well in with a chance:-$
  18. Indulge yourself Capt! You never know you might really enjoy it!
  19. Jungle Book 300 The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (?)
