There is nothing unpleasant about the comment. its how you have construed it! We have to remember people are of all different faiths & religions what is acceptable for some, may not be for others. there is no other meaning behind what I am saying. sometimes things just need to be left alone……. I understand the fundraiser is with good intentions Thank you sue

As great as this post is, have you guys thought the family do to want to draw attention to themselves, for reasons you may not understand! the family have already said they want no money, not everyone needs money at times like this instead of just sending your wishes to them personally you have brought media attention they do not need or want! Sometimes you need to read between the lines! the court case alone will bring about information the family do not want anyone to know about! people need to leave this alone now! you don’t see the family running to the media to give their story……. Think about it

I saw a post a few days ago by the previous guys who stated the plough had given their land to someone else. if my memory serves me right, the guys are not selling trees this year. if I see their post again I will update with correct information in case I have got it wrong.

Cost of secondary school trips
sweetgirl replied to Bellenden Belle's topic in The Family Room Discussion
Nowadays you are better off booking your own holiday, even if it means paying a fine! the prices are a joke! I wouldn’t pay 3k for a week! I can do a 3 week trip elsewhere for 2 in that priceband….. & that would include a decent hotel! -

Cameras intruding on the street & neighbours house
sweetgirl replied to sweetgirl's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
They neighbours aren’t a problem, its the cameras & the invasion of privacy is! if someone comes to the house next door, they can see who’s coming & going! why should the friend have to spend money putting up high fencing or something to block the cameras view? if it was me, I’d have hit the roof! or at the very least those with the cameras should spend their money for fencing or whatever to ensure they are not invading the privacy of their neighbours! -
Cameras intruding on the street & neighbours house

What can this person do to deal with the situation? how do they put them in “big trouble “ Btw, it’s a council property not only that, they’ve taken permission from their neighbours, who are privately owned & put a camera up there too! The cameras in the back have night vision too…… -
There’s a house on landcroft road, very close to the school. there are cameras in the windows, looking down on the road & constantly watching the neighbours going about their daily lives. theres also cameras at the back, watching the neighbours in their garden. they family go on holiday & are watching everyone’s movements in the vicinity of their home, & surrounding they even talk about what they see on their cameras. does anyone have any opinions or ideas on how to deal with this situation….. It is clearly invading the neighbours privacy asking for a friend…….

Help with council service charge!
sweetgirl replied to Tim2706's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
A friend of mine bought a leasehold property a few years ago. (biggest mistake ever they found out in due time!) it was a block of four. 2 were council, 2 were privately owned. i cant remember the figures but in the end they had to sell up as what the council were requesting was too much for unnecessary works which they had carried out! they sold the 2 bed flat, paid off the council then moved to Yorkshire where they brought a 3 floor, 4 bed house. this was about 6 years ago. leasehold properties are not worth it when these big bills arise! there are so many horror stories, you have no option but to pay up! -
You need to email the local schools with the pcs & see if they can identify the kids….. then if you get a good response, send the police for them!

M&S LORDSHIP LANE - CASH ONLY
sweetgirl replied to Baroness Millhaven's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Cashless is not the way forward! hold on to your cash everyone -
personally I’d say this is about the timing! the new owners have recently taken over…. The extortionate pricing or “mistakenly” overpricing is a practice that has gone on for ages! unfortunately, nobody questioned it until now it remains to be seen if people will think with their wallets or their feet!
