See the previous post regarding Summer Field and accountants How many leaseholders are senior citizens who just pay when a bill comes in as they have never been in debt? And don't wont to be. Who are still owed the money because they have no one to fight their cause. Has Peter John responded? I suspect they have not lost money as many people have not fought their corner to get a refund and this outweighs any payments out.
  4. Don't be harsh on the OP she did admit she needed to clear her head. Perhaps she was in a different park?.

  7. I think this should now be consigned to the trash can as it is getting very boring and repetative. Drive or cycle on the pavement keep death off the road

In my experience of dealing with local authorities each manager has a manager. Above Chris Flynn is his manager and this manager answers to Martin Green. Martin Green I suspect passes all problems down to this Person to solve. This is the person you should be dealing with and then Gerri Scott. Pressure will always flows down to Martin Green from Scott. Ask who this is and contact. Why have mangers who cannot take independent action? Hence the delay in answering
  9. Perhaps they are fully aware the figures are wrong and will only amend if you challenge them directly and not amend every one at once In this case seeking permission to admit and amend.

    Rye Lane

Please dont forget when you mention the Bellenden Renewal area the Council ploughed a great deal of money in to bring this enclave up to speck. So in terms of housing stock it was already good. Although in doing so they forgot roads like Chadwick from Bellenden road upwards in which they have many houses to slowly fall in to disrepair. This was the course of action they decided when the raillink was proposed as mentioned above. Perehaps the plan was/is to let these council places go and just sell them off as the Council certainly wont spend the money to bring them up to spec. Louisa is spot on
  11. But it is an eyesore. Should not be anywhere.Perhaps Dulwich Village

  13. So you could write with any address, whether it is your address or not, in favour of or against, and ask for your details to be hidden. Does planning check against the electorial list. Thought details had to be shown.

What has to be remembered is that writing to mortgage companies after demands have been sent is to elicit the response that they will not pay if in dispute or if they have not been instructed to do so by the house owner. This response will then provide the means to take the matter to court to get judgement in their favor for outstanding charges and then the mortgage company will immediately pay the full amount once this has been sent to them.
  18. Lets hope that this is the case. Or let's get Iceland listed as a community asset Will upset many people
  19. Will the watch man be going from the market? A valuable asset. Any answer?

Before bills are sent out you should have received in detail "A notice of intention" prior to tendering providing a 30 day oberservation period and then "A notice of proposal" along with a statement giving the result of the tender process. A 30 day observation period must be given to allow leaseholders to make comments on the prices received. Both are important steps for initiating Major Works
  21. How many people remember the disco club opposite Burger King in the 1970's and bobby king and the sabres at the co.op hall and the teen and twenty club in kimpton road. Magic times
  22. Which is what they want as it produces money.
  23. Yes. Before the trendy tat there were many useful shops. Ossie the plumber, Dackecome car spares/ The turkish deli, Bakery, Chaz, Many small grocers. The Prince Albert. Mr Patel the papershop. The dry Cleaner, The very good cafe. Chinese takeaway. Takeaway foodshops. It has always been a useful street, but then there are not many of us left before the gentification who remember
  24. Agree. Even the minimarts prices are slowly rising to take advantage of this new influx. We will soon have two expensive food shops.
  25. Gerri Scott is a lady.
