  1. Overloaded party with drunk loud teenagers, alcohol, nitrous oxide/laughing gas containers everywhere, spilled out onto the street at which point a fight broke out between about 10 young d*ckheads, one of them dropped a knife, police called, vans, cars and around 8 police, multiple arrests and drama and kids hanging about on the street until around 3am. Pain in the a**e.
  2. Alex at Savvy Accounting is absolutely fantastic. I use her for my business and personal tax requirements. Savvy Accounting 335 Lordship Lane London SE22 8JH 0203 858 7424 [email protected]
  3. Kozan at Savoirman is absolutely fantastic https://www.savoirman.com/
  4. I would love recommendations on a great financial advisor with a focus on property ownership and mortgages.
  5. I have several duvets which I need cut down and sewn into sleeping pads to use as cat beds at Celia Hammond Animal Trust. Hopefully if you are a dab hand with a sewing machine, this shouldn't take too long. Can anyone help? Please call Bryan on 07720 712553
  6. Thank Redjam. A lot of the time resources are on social right now. Alongside pushing for the award, they're still running over-capacity rescue centres and clinics, so it's probably purely down to time. It's awesome you voted tho, so thank you!
  7. Alan Naish of Naish & Sons Chimney Sweeps did a fantastic job of cleaning our wood burner chimney today. Flue was cleaned and certified quickly and the room was left spotless. Great, friendly and family-run company, and it was lovely hearing it's been passed from father to son since 1870!!! 5 Stars Their details are: 0208 668 9914 http://naishandsons.com/
  8. Just a quick reminder to request votes for Celia Hammond! Currently, their X-Ray equipment is in dire need of replacing and with sick and injured cats arriving each day, this vital equipment could be replaced with the award. They do such good charity work with no government funding, and this award would be life changing for the team and the animals in their care! VOTE HERE: https://www.animalfriends.co.uk/100kcharitygiveaway/
  9. Neglect is a good reason. Apologies for butting in. It's still a bit of a touchy subject in our house! I'm glad you got him treatment, and if he is being neglected, then it sounds like you have a new cat!
  10. Have you checked that the neighbour has moved!? Have you spoken to them about taking in their pet? If not, it's still their cat no matter how long it spends at yours. I'm sure you had good intentions, but you should never, ever feed someone else's animal without their permission. We lost a much loved cat because our neighbour wouldn't stop feeding him. Unless the cat is being harmed or starved, it's hugely irresponsible.
  11. Ahhhhh, you're "THAT" guy. Well done. malumbu Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Sorry not voting for a cat charity. 16. So many of us on the East Dulwich Forum and in East Dulwich have adopted animals from Celia Hammond Animal Trust. They are an awesome "no-kill" animal rescue charity who receive no government support. Animal Friends Pet Insurance are running a giveaway of ?100,000 to one of three charities, and Celia Hammond made the list. Please please vote and share as much as you can to help Celia Hammond Animal Trust win this money. They do such incredible work and every penny will be put to the rescue and protection of vulnerable animals. The link to vote is below: https://www.animalfriends.co.uk/100kcharitygiveaway/
  17. Found at the bus stop on Lordship Lane. Call me on 07720 712553 to have it returned.
  18. Hi James Alongside the moped mugging streak, there seems to be a recurrence of OFO bikes being used in our area for muggings. Could you back up the 101 reports with a call for our local police ramp up the use of stop and search temporarily if they suspect these bikes have been vandalised and stolen? I wouldn't imagine there are too many of these bikes in ED being "hired" by young guys in black hoods! http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1963059 http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?5,1965478

I doubt the bike was hired! As soon as the sensor is knocked off, they become "free" bikes for thieves.
  21. This thread is kinda getting off topic now, but good effort everyone! The message got out. East Dulwich Road is safe once more. I?m Batman.
  22. My original post wasn?t alarmist. It was warning people of an incident literally 20 minutes beforehand in case it happened again.
  23. Beware this evening - there is a little scumbag on a stolen yellow OFO bike cruising East Dulwich Road trying to steal phones out of peoples hands. I was walking past the petrol station and he cruised past me slowly looking back, then crossed the road, sped up and tried to snatch a phone out of a guys hand at the playpark traffic lights. Gave chase, but he got away down towards the Gowlett. Black teenager, around 16/17 yo Black hoodie pulled up Black trackies Black trainers Tried calling 101 but with the carnival on.... no joy. Be careful. Or be daring and knock him off his bike.....
  24. So, we got scammed by a 12-ish y/o red haired kid with a blue jacket and London accent last weekend outside the EDT. Very convincing spiel. Piece of paper with his schools logo on it, and collecting for "abused kids". Supposedly a 5k run on Saturday in Dulwich Park. This evening, the same little sh*t walking up the street with his clan ran across the road to target a guy outside EDT, exactly the same story, with "ANOTHER RUN" tomorrow, saw a few people looking and he scarpered up a side street.
