  1. I watched a British horror/thriller the other night on Sky. Think it's fairly recent called The Children. That was very good. Not a horror film, but one of the sickest and weirdest films I've seen is The Human Centipede.
  2. munter
  3. Thanks Sean will search around
  4. there are two versions; the 1979 one and the 2004 one with Rob Lowe apparently
  5. Yes I was told about the window scene in Salem's Lot - I've never seen it. Gonna buy it on Ebay now! Also, The Entity was quite scary.
  6. oh yes The Mist..watched that couple years back..that was quite good for a straight to DVD film! Good ending!
  7. yeah but when we were about 12!! The quick flash of the devil's face that used to appear every so often got to me!
  8. MP's post in the Top 10 thread got me thinking about this and the other day I was having a discussion on horror movies with some friends..we all agreed that we have yet to see a film that has really scared the bejesus out of us. For me, the scene in the Ring when the girl climbs out of the telly and the 'old woman in bathroom' scene in The Shining were a bit scary (don't laugh!). What do other forumites think are the most frightening movies and movie scenes?
  9. maybe FIFA are wanting to host the World Cup in a country whose fans won't invade the pitches, throw flares at the opposition and act like complete and utter morons.
  10. Who are Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, Aristotle and the Pope?
  11. I've found that they cut out quite a bit mid-conversation, battery dies quick and you need tiny tiny fingers to be able to use that damn keypad. I prefer my Blackberry for calls and emails although internet use is rubbish

  13. oh shut aaaaaaaap
  14. It's annoying for me as I walk to work so don't have any excuse for being late like my colleagues!!
  15. Glow - Alien Ant Farm
  16. Silk Worms - Guns & Roses
  17. I get takeaways a lot as I can't be bothered to cook most nights..also don't have the room in my kitchen to install a 3 foot vertical spit on which to cook my doner meat.

  19. Cher is from Worcester..I'm being sarcy. No...good rappers don't all emanate from poor ghettos that's a terrible assumption DJKQ!

  21. and as for JLS being an R&B act....their successful as a boy band that sing POP songs for girls under 16.

You need a certain style/attitude and confidence that comes NATURALLY to be a good rapper (think Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Eve as female examples)...something that a skinny little girl from Worcester will never have! You can't compare her to Dizee Rascal that's an absolute joke and he's not that great either. There are no decent rappers in the UK.
  23. I cringe everytime Cher tries to 'rap' - she's awful. As for rumours that Jay Z wants to sign her up/do something with her..please tell me that's a joke. Rebecca is as dull as dishwater but likeable (like Leona Lewis). Matt to win for me..his second performance 'Nights in White Satin' on Saturday was brilliant.
  24. swiping my Oyster card at the security gates in my office and wondering why they don't open.
