  1. if you have a lot of designer goods, proof of authenticity and/or receipts is always good. If you're a first time buyer/seller you won't have any feedback score and some buyers can be put off by that. Oh and if you don't want to let a pair of your Jimmy Choos go for a tenner then set a minimum price!
  2. pour into plastic bottles and leave them in random places all around East Dulwich?

I couldn't agree with you more Malumbu...I used to help out my friend who ran a bar doing private functions. I loathed doing the under 18 nights as there was almost, always trouble....and this was sans alcohol! In fact I don't recall a night when there wasn't any trouble. We were always assured by the parents, prior to the booking, that there would be sufficient number of adults to act as doormen but there never was - and when it came to it they were powerless to do anything...I personally think you're better off with a couple of actual beefcake bouncers! However, having said that Rach1983, hopefully your teenagers know how to conduct themselves better than the sods I had to deal with!
  4. Diverting slightly, the 'ethnicity' section on those forms that ask for personal details always get me stumped. My mother is English and my father Egyptian. I was born and raised in England and hold a British passport. I see myself as half English and half Egyptian but if asked, I say I am British - as that is my nationality. However, my 'ethnic origin' is mixed. Or, depending on which form you're filling out, I'm 'OTHER'!

  11. I only just noticed, the other day, the mural on the small building/shed thing at the 63 bus stop outside the Herne Tavern. It's a massive improvement to what it looked like previously..it has been there years and years, I remember it when I was a kid. Anyone know its purpose?
