  1. Using bears for this is just plain cruel. Can't they use cats?

Seen 'the dark side of the forum . . .' thread, AM? Ring any bells?
  3. I wouldn't mind seeing a new mag for the area. SE22 is boring and staid now, full of ads from the same companies etc. A new mag may force SE22 to re-vamp which I think is badly needed.

H was a bullying poster much of the time, and he was always joined by 2-3 regular posters whenever and wherever he posted. Maybe they supported H for fear of being bullied themselves.

This is why I love living in ED :-) You and your "community" will directly benefit from the road safety benefits, as will the wider "community" but you will likely benefit more as you live close by and will use roads frequently. Wanting the improvments but wanting the buses be diverted to other streets and other communities is nimbyism. Moot point anyway as it is going to happen, and all the meeting will say is that there will be minimum disruption, probably no damage caused, and this is who to contact in case of damage etc. I hope there is no damage but a scratched car is better than a car crash/knocked down child.
  6. I recall that the Cherry Tree pub had very bad comments made by EDF posters, and quite nasty hateful comments made about individuals there. That thread was allowed to continue for days.
  7. Stuff and nonsense. Pure nimbyism. Am sure half of the nimbys also want road safety improvements! 3 months max, don't be so selfish.
