  10. We all know that takeaways never taste the same as eat ins . . .
  11. The notice boards at entrances provide a number to call if one is so careless to get ones self locked in. Oh, wait, what if no mobile. . .lets provide free phones. Sheesh.

Was in Patch other day for pint, apart from a very uneven floor surface, and dining area 'hidden' by a blanket not a lot has changed. My guess for lack of engagement from Patch is false/misleading claims.
  13. Don't forget Paine & Hunter for good service, plus the White Horse PH. Bad service at Bishop.
  14. How do people remember all of their pins?

Its a non issue, James, don't make it one because of someones own mistake. Talk about nannying! And what about the hard of hearing, should we have flashing lights, oh wait, what about the deaf and blind, etc

  19. Eliz - Just because you were so careless, and you did not check closing times does not mean the system has to change and you shouldn't be asking for it. It has worked well for years. Besides the park is not in ED ward. Try checking next time.
  20. I'd heard that for the last few days, peckham gangs have been wearing those 'Scream' face masks, ( from the film), to hide their faces while committing robberies and muggings around Halloween.
  21. Friendliest service award has to go to Emilys Fish & Chip shop on NorthX.
  22. If the police did their job then kits wouldn't be needed, and that is regardless of cuts. Never any resource issue looking after G8 e.g.

Thanks James, point taken. But if theives do not know what the punishment for their crimes are then why would we expect them to know what the stickers etc mean? Or why would they not see the stickers as a means of identifying houses with potentially high value items to be robbed as the owner has gone to the trouble of using the kit?
