  1. I was at an aftershow party for Dr John in a bar at Camden Lock a few years back and popped into the loo only to find the likes of Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher and a few other assorted chaps powdering their noses. Following them out Paul Weller decides to attack Martin Carr (who recently played these parts on Monday night) for going into the wrong key when he sat in with the band during Walk On Guilded Splinters. He's an aggressive bastard that Weller and he was hell bent on smashing his face in. Myself and a couple of other people had to drag him off before did some real damage. Not particularly funny I know but there you go.

  4. Queen Bitch - David Bowie
  5. That's as maybe but why go into a pub if you're not going to drink alcohol?
  6. Cheers CitizenEd, I was in Si Mangia last week but I failed to notice the cafe but I'll be sure to pop in sometime soon.
  7. I know it's only a pre-season friendly but Bent scored four against Norwich last night. I live in hope he'll come good.
  8. It's not just East Dulwich. I think you'll find it's even worse in the big shitty.
  9. All sounds good but does this place have a name yet? And whereabouts on Forest Hill Road is it?
  10. Pete n' Dud in their Derek & Clive mode would never have made it onto the radio.
  11. No. Slept like a baby (meaning I woke up crying twice in the night and shat and pissed in my nappy). We couldn't afford chips. We spent all our money on booze and drugs. Some things never change.
  12. Yeah me too. I went to rave in some old studios in the East End about ten years back and there were a couple of Eastenders' actors there e'd off their tits. So was I though.

But I didn't did I. If you want a debate why don't you start one instead of hiding behind you so-called witticisms.
  14. I'm fully aware that *Bob* has his tongue firmly in his cheek most of the time Sean but it seems to me from where I'm sitting your tongue is firmly ramned up his arse.

  16. No one's bitten yet *Bob*. If it pleases you do keep trying and I'm sure someone will eventually.

  18. The Dog is under new management and have once again recently refurbished/upgraded the kitchen so hopefully we can expect an improvement in the Sunday roasts soon.

  22. Bent better start earning his money, he's been a total waste of it so far. If we don't get a big name signing to play up alongside Berba then he's definitely off to Man Utd. Along with Jermaine Defoe at the end of last season that'll be three top class proven goalscorers leaving the club and who have we got to replace them? Darren Bent who's still got a long way to go to proving he's not the one season wonder he was at Charlton, Dos Santos, a 19-year-old who's never played in the Premiership before and that's it. Players need time to get to know each other's play and form partnerships. Spurs are leaving things too late and I predict a poor start to the season for them and it could be too late for them to catch up before any new players start gelling.
  23. It's the summer holidays and yoof are bored. Weren't you a teenager once with nothing much to do except hang with your mates? I chose to hang around outside an off licence with my friends before we could get into the local pubs when I was a little yout bwoy. They aren't all thugs, just try talking to them without prejudice first before condemning their behaviour and they might just might curb their more loutish behaviour.
  24. Although I hate to say it, it's good business for Spurs. Bring on David Villa now please.
