We're building a strong young side with the emphasis on young home grown talent (several of whom were in last night's England squad) and it's good that we are finally backing our manager in his vision. I like what Pochettino is doing at Spurs and though we've drawn a few games too many we're still unbeaten since the opening day loss to Man Utd, a game we could and should have won. The second of three London derbies on the spin coming up on Saturday. Should be quite tasty.
  2. According to Dulwich Estates it won't be reopening as a pub. It's looking like more flats and retail space, which is a bloody shame.
  3. What a cracking performance from Deli Alli tonight on his full debut. It seems every time he takes a step up in class he handles it with aplomb, no bother. That's some player we've got here and he can only get better. I'm so happy he's a Spurs player.
  4. The way things are going we'll be lucky if The Dog will be open in time for New Year 2017. I was also unaware that Mitchell & Butler will still be in charge of the day to day running of the pub. That will mean the food will still be crap. Meanwhile, The Half Moon is still firmly closed as Dulwich Estates plans are to also turn the upstairs into an hotel which goes against the grain of what most people want for it to remain as a music entertainment venue. Sadly, the Grove Tavern looks like is will never open its doors again as a pub. Absolute shambles.
  5. This thread is complete and utter bollocks.

  7. A new low for Murdoch's Sky network. Comparing Jeremy Corbyn to Jihadi John is a revolting and disgusting slander. http://news.sky.com/story/1587369/jihadi-jez-under-fire-from-his-own-side

  9. And me.
  10. Jeez! Hats off to you DF. Call it beginners luck but top of the Predictor League. Well played.
  11. And another four-nil win for the pink and blue.

From your OP - "and having been involved with diversification and equality issues in the past for a couple of years" - one could easily assume you did from that sentence. One could easily also assume and infer that you're actually a wide up merchant and conclude that you're a bit of cnut. No offence.

My two nearest pubs and both of them have closed down. Could certainly do with a pub up this end of Dulwich.
  14. Woo! Blast from the past. Many of you may remember her on the streets of East Dulwich too. http://www.soundsurvey.org.uk/index.php/survey/post/the_white_lady_of_camberwell_and_other_london_characters/

  16. Tell me about it. Picked up one measly point today.
  17. As Red Devil said, context is everything.
  18. I seem to remember the thread in question complained about how you felt there were too many gays in the soaps on TV and how you didn't want to see that sort of thing on the telly especially before the watershed because it made you feel uncomfortable. Was that you or somebody else? And if you didn't put Gene Hunt's words into quotes in your original thread then what did you expect? Any accusation of your apparent homophobia would most certainly have been justified.

  21. My alma mater. Built in '56. Demolished in '90. Not a happy place for me. http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/2823b145-fdba-4ce5-8e1d-fa7b13e701af_zpsodk88tkz.jpg http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/10540536_686252318109310_7287657553165369826_n_zpslawbylcl.jpg http://i1369.photobucket.com/albums/ag237/jahlushhead/10373659_10152442689730250_960741931548839488_n_zps4u5roymu.jpg
