Had a postal delivery but no survey...is it random?

At the junction of Jennings Road and Landells builders have erected a station with a cement mixer- on the road on the corner where there are double yellows...and there is a large van parked on them as well....where are the traffic mopeds when you need them...I see at least 2 at 8am....

There are a couple of taxis in CPR near Heber and they both DO have license plates on the back...

In other parts of the country they re-surface one half of the road at a time whilst operating a contraflow- instead of shutting the whole road and diverting massive buses down narrow side roads

There is one sporting a PayPal advert on Jennings Road junction with Crystal Palace Road- been there for weeks, and a purple one has appeared overnight just around the corner from it with QATAR on it- replacing another one that was there for a couple of months until recently.

This week a letter was delivered to my door which CLEARLY had another number on it- and a different name- luckily I caught the postie (not one of our regulars btw) Today a parcel for us with the name and address correctly written and that was supposed to be signed for was put in NEXT DOOR's BIN (even though we have no instruction to the royal mail for putting anything anywhere and the item is worth ?50) and the card put through THEIR front door along with another letter meant for us. Luckily our neighbour- who is not always there- brought the things to us. What a joke. I am going to complain- but nothing will change

My aunt's house backed on to the Spotted Dog Ground so I got to see them play- although after she died I paid to get in. I was in the Underworld at Camden and the bar man had a Clapton FC shirt on...he was Italian and told me that they have a big Italian following...small world!

I developed something similar over the last year but mine is not continuous it flares up now and again and on one inner arm and the base of my scalp. And, like you, my lifestyle etc has not changed. Hi James, There has been a house refurbishment going on in 266 Crystal Palace Road since about February and there has been a skip permanently sited outside number 266. The skip was being used at first by the team in the building but now is regularly being filled by different builders who just drive up unload their rubble etc with accompanying dust everytime the skip is removed and replaced. I have looked at the Southwark site but cannot find any specific guidelines so do not know how to complain as the skip is using valuable parking space, creating dust and noise and is probably now irrelevant to the work going on in the property it is outside. There are no posters or anything for contact on 266 Crystal palace Road either.

Hi James One of my near neighbours had a disabled space installed about a year ago. The elderly person who it was for has not lived there for 9 months or so. The space is never used except for delivery vans being there for 5 minutes now and again. How can we request it to be reversed since I do not feel comfortable approaching the neighbour directly?

Interesting thread- Saltash did my house on Crystal Palace Road and they were brilliant. The only complaint I've got is that the extractor fan in the kitchen is not very powerful and is on all the time so the windows get steamed up if I cook rice properly instead of using the microwaveable stuff.

yes it must be part of the Dulwich Estate and there will be petrol tanks underground I think because I'm sure there was a filling station there

Waste of police resources...volunteering at any of the above organisations would be a better use of your time imo

Did Southwark Council go ahead with their plans to evict the Feminist Library on the 1st March? It was kept very quiet as far as I know as I only read about the massive rent hike from ?12,000 to ?30,000 today. The Library is also used by other community groups.
