  1. > TJ is fine, get referred there by Forest Hill Rd Group Practice and can't think of any issues. If it's a referral I suspect that's to the Extended Primary Care Service, also based at TJHC, which acts as a backup to the 13 or so South Southwark practices, rather than to the main GP practice. They're different entities, though I don't know how the EPCS operate in practice. More details at /viewtopic.php?p=2254891#p2254891

    Air fryer

These were featured in June in the BBC Radio 4 "Sliced bread" series. There's a download available at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p07012sf/episodes/downloads.
  4. I hope someone takes charge of it before people start removing items. It might be worthwhile reporting it online to the police with the '?stolen' suggestion, and maybe some details of the range of items and details of any distinctive ones.

    Gas bill

    > I did put in the meter reading and still its around £500. You've not mentioned anything about the stated amounts of gas consumed, or whether the readings given on the latest bill tally with those on the preceding one(s), or how today's meter reading compares. I'm wondering if this is a new account that you've taken over and there's been an admin error; or whether you've misread the meter. If it's an old style one, like mine, the relevant reading (hundreds of cubic feet) is just the leftmost four digits.
  6. Angelina> I think there's an Aldi on the OKR as well. That was last week. It won't be there now again for some unspecified time, while even more extensive rebuilding than Lidl's takes place. https://southwarknews.co.uk/featured/old-kent-road-aldi-packs-up/

    Private messaging

This is from Chapter 5.5.3 of the User Guide in the phpBB 3.3 documentation file (1.6MB) https://download.phpbb.com/pub/documentation/3.3/proteus_documentation.pdf. "Sent messages will appear in either the Outbox or the Sent messages folder. As long as the recipient(s) have not yet read the message, it will stay in the Outbox. As soon as someone reads the message it will be archived to the Sent messages folder. If the administrator allows it, you can edit messages after sending them as long as they are in the Outbox and the recipients have not yet read them."
  8. Mark> The old format was unsecure and unable to continue. I'm not doubting it, but it would be good to know some details of what the specific holes and risks were, whether in the OS or Phorum itself.

  10. se22_2020er, I assume yours did have yellow lines across it? Otherwise, there's a useful thread from 2017 at /viewtopic.php?t=1877690 .
  11. Most reports can be made online, or by phone. If you go to https://www.met.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/ there's a Lost & Found branch if you follow the Something Else link. At least you should have the assurance that your report is accurately recorded and categorised, if it's the kind of item that's acceptable to their system.
  12. Although Word may have been open at the time, I think it's likely that the message arrived as a browser popup triggered by going to a hacked web page, as mentioned in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/important-security-message/9b209278-a5e4-4b1c-8a86-d0dd49eb1e15, which also advises on using Task Manager to close down the browser. Searching on Microsoft support 0203 shows a variety of such numbers being used. The one you quote is already unobtainable.
  13. Direct email sending was always disabled globally (only PMs are allowed) so that setting was misleading, it was always 'off' even though it said 'on' in your User Control Panel . I have completely removed the setting from the User Control Panel to avoid confusion. The trouble is that the spurious error message is turning up, and the submitted option discarded and replaced by the ?default setting, for an attempted edit of any of the global setting items, even an anodyne change of preferred date syntax. It's doubly odd in that, aiui, phpBB base comes with English installed as the sole available language, with any others catered for only by add-ons.
  14. Yes; and I have no reason not to.
  15. They do help.
  16. The threads are still here, but they will all moved to the General ED issues so they're probably not easy to find. Mark informs me that the Drawing Room section hasn't been used for quite some time and it was hidden on the previous forum. Thanks Joe. I think the Lounge would be the right place for them, in fact I think Mark might, some time ago, have moved some there already; he at least wrote of it. The drawback of that though, or any melding, might be that they really did become indistinguishable. Unless ?? made into a sort of historic subforum?? Though I'm not sure if anyone else will be interested. I'd be happy to write a script, to download them from wherever they are, for just my own personal delectation. And they were all findable and in plain view last week; no hackery, no privileges, just a splash of inquisitive perseverance. ;) PDF attachment now working thanks, btw. Nice to see the EDF links nicely remapped.
  17. And one more thought :) I was enjoying looking through the old Drawing Room posts on the EDF site last week. It was a discontinued forum but still retained read-only. I had thought of saving a copy myself. It only consisted of about 320 threads, the majority of them with less than thirty posts, but assumed it would be carried forward here. But I've not found it yet. Under Phorum it lived at /forum/list.php?27 .
  18. I'd already tried that, dropping the '5,'. And also attaching a .html file, with same result. Having looked at the phpBB Proteus documantaion, I think it's just a simple config matter.
  19. Hi. 1. I've had attempts to attach a .pdf file to a post declined with the error message "Invalid file extension: 5,2285583.pdf". I used them in the Phorum version: it was easy to print html to pdf, and they retained the clickable links. 2. I've also, like a previous poster, had the 'illegal language' report when trying to submit a changed global setting within Board Preferences. 3. I think I've also lost, or failed to have saved, a draft post. If anyone has succeeded that would be useful to hear and I'll try again.
  20. 5,2285583.pdfI have a copy of the thread as it was two days ago, from my browser cache. I tried to attach it here but but got the message: "Invalid file extension: 5,2285583.pdf". I'll pass this on to Joe, as it may well be remediable. Now ? attached. I'm pleased to see the links within it seem to have been converted to map to the respective folders here.
