  2. I am a resident living on that estate for the past 3 years. The matches happen mostly on a Saturday afternoon, plus occasional games on Tuesday/Thursday evenings. No usually not a problem with noise, their average turnout is around 200. Occasionally there are pre-season friendlies where the place is rammed but these are very few and far between.
  3. My missus saw Phils Mitchell's girl...the blonde one with the pointy nose(I dont watch EastEnders !) in the Horniman Museum a couple of days ago

  16. Hey LaddyMuck!! I went to the gym this evening and spoke to my friend behind the desk. He said that you had been in to see him, to get a season ticket! Very good! He was impressed by your enthusiastic support!
  17. I agree with Loz. I bought my first ever PC from PC World. We had to wait a good 25 mins to find someone to serve us. We then purchased a Packard Bell (aka Packard from Hell) PC at a vastly overinflated price. I would recommend one of the following sites: Dabs.com Dell If you want to read how a PC is rated...then get a copy of PC Plus or PC Pro magazine. Tbey have first class reviews of PCs...very detailed and knowledgeable...far more than the average PC world member of staff!!
  18. Thanks James for posting up the Sub Commitees decision. I think that this is a very fair ruling. The committee have taken on board the comments from the police and sought to put measures forward that hopefully should avoid the tragedy occuring again. I dont think the measures sound heavy handed...in fact they are better than the alternative which was to have no licence at all. I spoke to someone who works at the club a few days ago...and alas there was no element or remorse about the possibility of them losing their licence or the tragic incident that had taken place. It was more a view of 'Too bloody right we didnt get our licence revoked..we SHOULDNT get it revoked...'
  19. Hi James Has there been any news about this mornings review meeting? 21. Lying Toad Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Weegee, don't wish to set a bad rep for Toads, > > But......, when are your next EDF drinks? > > > > Best, > > TLT Hi there Apologies I have been super busy at work and not much time spent on here. OK I am looking at either of the following dates for the next EDF Drinks: Friday 1st April or Friday 8th April But I will need to confirm these with Mrs Weegee first...
  22. I also think that the football club really needs to Work on it's Relationship with local neighbours and Residents ie the PR,communications etc ESP during The issue with the shutters and late night parties. Then it would engender a healthy representation of Theclub in the local community .and would have stopped A licencing review from having to be done
  23. I agree with a lot of the people on this thread.Dulwich Hamlet football should not lose their licence. They have every right to pursue a business model that maximises income especially as they do not get much external financial Support (like the premier league.) However the football club has to remember that the bar is a licenced Establishment like any other pub or bar in the ED Area. And they have rules and procedures to follow. I'n this particular tragic case certain steps or procedures weren't followed.the review should highlight these
  24. Thanks to everyone who came down last night to the drinks. Lying Toad and Mrs Toad, lovely to meet you guys. I hope your daughters birthday party went off ok. Hello to all the other people that came down including Ladymuck, Daizie, CitizenEd, Dave, Kels, Georgia, HelpMaBoab, LegalBeagle etc... I was feeling the tiredness of a demanding week and had to slope off early, leaving the others to party and dance! Im feeling quite a sore head this morning...so im off for a swim to clear it!!
