Sorry that you had to go through this, but good news that they got him in the end. Keep safe.

I think it would be the Peckham Rye Safer Neighbourhood Team, if it was in Peckham Park?

Agree, this should be moved to General Issues.

At least the bin men only come once a week, what's with the 24/7 building noise we've been having lately? Even Sunday's aren't sacred. -
Oh my God, how awful for you. Good that you got away and warned others and that you've reported it. Let's hope they get caught soon (in more ways than one, that'll teach 'em).

Not too posh for the criminal fraternity, a?

Breaking news now on SKY News, there's a major fire in Dean Street.
-
Just had a telephone call from my daughter, who is on a boat on the Thames, to say that there is a very bad fire raging and wanted to know what was happening? Nothing on the news, as yet, but according to SKY News Desk, it's in Soho.

Did I hear fireworks about twenty minutes ago, or was it gun fire?;-) -

I've lived here for many, many years. First we had the Sunday am collection and then it changed to Saturday's, some times at 5.30 am. Years ago, the Council told me that they review/rotate the collection days/time every two years, but nothing's changed. -

I quoted TonyQuinn's comment, because when something like this happens to you or someone you know, the last thing on your mind are statistics!

I, for one, am very sorry to hear about your elderly neighbour being mugged. It must have been extremely distressing for her and I do hope that she wasn't hurt or injured. My mum has, also, been the victim of a few muggings and it makes me sick that b......'s like these target the elderly and vulnerable and get away with it. (6)
