They actually lost on Saturday at Needham Market but Enfield only managed a draw so Dulwich stayed in 5th place. Play-off semi-final at Bognor Regis Town on Thursday night.

There's the Swan in Needham Market itself: https://m.facebook.com/The-Swan-Needham-Market-479665632201189/timeline?ref=page_internal It's a Greene King pub and they're usually fine - there's a phone number on the link anyway if you want to check in advance. Also the Rampant Horse in NM but it's not clear that does sport. Otherwise there'll be more choice in Stowmarket just to the north or Ipswich to the south.

TfL BusAlerts 08.24: Buses serving Forest Hill, Brockley, Catford and Dulwich areas are delayed up to twenty minutes due to roadworks at Forest Hill Road, SE22.

BIG match tomorrow vs Lewes. Final home game of the season with four points needed from the last two games to guarantee a playoff spot. If we do manage that, any playoff games will (almost certainly) be away from home.

I thought it was because parts of the bridge fell onto the platform below: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/410610/141023_R232014_Denmark_Hill.pdf Having read the report however, this turns out not to be the current reason for closure. Unfortunately can't help with when it might reopen but there has certainly been some activity behind the barriers of late. Edited to correct my error. From the report: "58 The incident bridge was closed to road traffic by Network Rail in August 2014, and remained closed to road traf c at the publication date of this RAIB report, for a reason which is unrelated to defects in the concrete cladding of the bridge beams."

Kingstonian could go above us too and put us out of the play off slots if they win their game in hand. The K's already missed a chance on Tuesday when they lost 4-0 at Enfield Town - which is where Dulwich play tomorrow (eeek).

Dulwich Hamlet (how much is admission?)
dc replied to titch juicy's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Not quite - and a bit more complicated than that: ?10 for Adults ?4 for Concessions (Seniors - 60+, Under 18s, Unemployed (UB40), NHS Staff, Blue Light Services and Full Time Students with valid ID) Under 12s FREE accompanied by a paying adult -
There are no exceptions to the rule that everyone thinks they're an exception to the rules - Banksy, apparently

I would guess where Yilmaz Kebab is now - in which case it would be 277 Rye Lane (not Peckham Rye). Back when the bus stop was the Heaton Arms. Anyway, I'm sorry to see the Sea Cow go too. I saw the van at the Isle of Wight festival three or so years ago. Looked like bloomin' hard work so good luck to them.

???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Er, the BMC on Northcross Road is still there! Yes, sorry, I could have been clearer. The ones that were on Peckham Rye and in Forest Hill are now long gone.

The one on Peckham Rye may not have been called Blue Mountain but it was the same guy with a similar format who opened the BMC later on North Cross Road and in Forest Hill (both of which are long gone so not approaching the '10 establishment' threshold yet). I lived in Nigel Road SE15 at the time and then moved to Crawthew Grove - just round the corner from the North Cross Road BMC - so I don't think my memory is failing me.
-
The first Blue Mountain Cafe was on Peckham Rye (the road, not the big open space) - opposite the end of Nigel Road. Very near where lots of new food places have opened recently.

Ryman League Cup 3rd Round tie tonight (Tuesday) at Champion Hill vs Faversham at 7.45pm. Half price admission - ?5 (?2 concs).
-
Hamlet now five points clear having beaten Bognor Regis Town away in the top of the table 'six pointer' at the weekend. Icy wind down on the coast but well worth the trip - even though the famous Turner's pie shop was closed on Saturday afternoon. Away at Hendon tonight.

Early days and a few teams with games in hand. Still, better to be at the top looking down! Hopefully the Tuesday jinx will be broken. DHFC have lost 2-1 on the last two Tuesdsys having been ahead in both.
