Knocked on my door as well. Left abruptly when I declined the offer to sponsor his 100 penalty shoot-out. Thanks for advising that this is a scam. Hopefully someone will notify the police of this should he be doing the rounds again tomorrow...

Posted this the other day - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-35378499 Here's hoping it proves a success and is rolled out across London / the country ASAP.

Let's hope this proves a success and comes to ED ASAP - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-35363991

The problem with ED's pavements being covered with disgusting dog shit is not due to the lack of poo bins, but due to the selfish & inconsiderate mentality of the owners.

I too just spoke with TW. The chap explained that because they're legally obliged to distribute water after 6 hours and both SE22 & SE23 are affected (I.e . A large area), their primary objective is to get it fixed within the 6 hours, which on my reckoning should be around 2pm... I guess we'll just have to wait & see! -

Hillcourt Road waterless too. Far from ideal. Just hope they get it sorted soon. -

Has anyone had this done recently? What sort of costs are we talking? Can anyone recommend a company? We're on a road off Underhill - so impacted by the hill - and as such our ground floor is raised so there's quite a lot of excavating that would need to take place, not to mention supporting the house. Thanks.

There was just an owl like hoot coming from the gardens behind Hillcourt Road & Overhill Road. Couldn't see the source unfortunately. I wonder!

Difficult to tell. Looks like mine have a black head/fore-body, an orange mid/lower body, and a white (tipped) tail. Can't easily identify them online, nor get a decent pic. I'll persevere... fl0wer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Leave them alone, it'll be fine. > > Someone will come on line soon mentioning things > called Wall Bees, so you might as well look them > up for differentiation images.

Looks like there's a bee nest in the eaves of my house. Pretty sure they're bumbles looking at the size of them - which is great to see - just not sure whether I need to do anything about it, or not. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
