  1. Looks like there's a bee nest in the eaves of my house. Pretty sure they're bumbles looking at the size of them - which is great to see - just not sure whether I need to do anything about it, or not. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

  3. I've bought a wooden shed that needs painting, building, and re-painting ASAP by a couple of capable people (of which I am not). Recommendations from forumites most welcome. If you're a tradesperson who's interested in doing the work please PM me with viable references, a quote, and your availability. I have the build instructions but it's a 4Mb file so I can email it if you'd like to see them. Thanks James

  8. We recently used Mark to redecorate 3 rooms in our house, a job that also involved some carpentry work, including building a storage unit, a wardrobe, shelving in an unused fireplace hearth, and extending a shallow Victorian cupboard into a wardrobe. We are not only thrilled with the results of his endeavours, but were hugely impressed with his approach to the job, his professionalism, politeness, timekeeping, attitude, tidiness, respect for the house, etc, etc. Needless say but we wholeheartedly recommend Mark, and will be using him again in the future. Please feel free to PM me for further info.
  9. Thanks SJ. StraferJack Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > it's definitely from the people behind Terroir > No opening date > No website as yet
  10. The other thread (as most do on here) quickly became rather disjointed. Is there definitive confirmation as to what G&B is to become? When is it opening? Is there a website?
  11. Indeed KK, but it was still for those coming in to ED. KidKruger Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think it was just on route up to LB not those > coming home, maybe police had heard of something > going down with people from ED.
  12. Not quite sure what to make of it! Shocked? Relieved? Safe? Scared? All of the above?!

  15. Per the subject line, can anyone offer advice on cost-effective ways, companies, etc, to ship a 2 seater sofa back to the west country? Thanks.

Charlie will no doubt be mortified to read about your experience mearly and it's his reputation at stake (or is that steak?), so do indeed speak to him directly. Thus far I've had 2 great meat-buying experiences from F&H.
  20. I too am happy to recommend Russell for the aforementioned superlatives, and more.
