  1. Refusnik. 'Tis the last refuge of the dogmatic.
  2. You're a bloody pervert BBW make no mistake. ;-) And with this eraser I rub you.
  3. *cough*
  4. I'm sorry, you may not test my penis, but you may hop on my cock?
  5. How on earth did the conversation get around to that?
  6. Toe cleavage? You sick b@stard giggirl. karter, I prefer you. Now tell me again about your turnips.
  7. Crikey Karter, this is important.
  8. Hmmm. I once read an article that suggested blokes like arses because they have all of the shape and 'covered-up'-ness, whereas nipples made them all too real. Maybe it's related?
  9. Oh :( Why don't you like them? Appearance? Texture? Colour?
  10. Mammaries. Chortle.
  11. Evidently not. Boobs boobs boobs boobs tits. Boobs.
  12. I kinda like boobs.
  13. Tchaa! You mean I've been nothing but dinner in the witless Boofay? I'm nary a twig in your tree of knowledge TDFE8. ;-)
  14. So are you suggesting, honk, that ED might also benefit from some crime prevention expenditure ;-) *innocent smile*
  15. It's easy to see where our Nunhead faction get their pugnacious side from...
  16. If you argued that society considers promiscuity to be delinquent, and that being a Lothario shows a lack of consideration for the well being of others, then you could argue that it was defamation. If it suggested an element of sexual harassment then it would be damaging for his business. It wouldn't be me arguing it mind, it would be lawyers who cost more money than the adminstrator posesses. It wouldn't matter if he won or lost, he'd be poor.
  17. You knew I couldn't let it lie... Nunhead Figures ED Figures
  18. Hi red devil and Mickecg, unfortunately Asset's right, and the 'allegedly' isn't defence. Only 'fair comment' and legal proof are defences. Neither are applicable in this situation, and it's highly defamatory. I don't think you guys were regulars when the Forum had its last run in with libel, and it gets very messy very quickly. May I volunteer that you could go back and edit your posts to avoid any mention of anything that could identify the chap? Even cryptic identification is a no-no. If you can tell who he is by any means, then we all go down.
  19. I don't mind public breastfeeding in principle, but it makes me want to watch. Then I think watching is rather intrusive and borderline perverse, and then I feel guilty. Feeling guilty makes me unhappy, and then I resent the innocent mother for embroiling me in this moral quandary and ill-focused misery. I can't really admit to these complex arguments, so instead I concoct other red herring arguments about public decency which make me sound like a lunatic, but not a pervert.
  20. Awww, Quids, you know I only post because I love you xx It's a bit wierd though, because I've not recommended a parking permit, I've only recommended that someone check the data before casting judgment. Your strategy seems to be to shout at me for being reasonable, to berate me for asking for information, and then to tell me to get the hell off the forum because I no longer live locally. You misrepresented the results of the survey on another thread, which showed that residents close to LL are vastly in favour of parking restrictions. You continue a tired argument that involves using LL as your shopping destination, and other people's roads as your car park. Your reaction to their chagrin is to bully them. In your own terms, 0 out of 100. And I still love you.
  21. TDFE8, I love a username that shows your neighbours how better you are. You must be very very clever ;-) It has a sort of timelessness, in that it will work not only today, but also in many years. You will remain so clever. I am, naturally, awed. I take it from your use of 'smug' to refer to the general level of happiness in ED, that you are somewhat resentful of this state? I feel for you. I find the best approach to new acquaintances is to barely disguise your contempt. To hell with this 'a stranger is a friend I haven't made yet'. A stranger is doubtless a foil for one's anxieties, and the object of considerable scorn. I admire too, your willingness to use a neghbourhood forum as a vehicle to express your distaste. It empowers you to not only disapprove in the abstract, but also to repeat 'w*nker, w*nker' in your head as you stroll down the street and peer at the smiling innocents from under your hooded lids. I continue to be impressed by the way you demonstrate your local knowledge. Your pool table enquiry was a masterstroke, pretending that you hadn't been to the pub at the end of your road in order to demonstrate local shortcomings. Similarly your observation that ED is only 'alright for now' subtly communicates that you, unlike these local t*ssers, are on the move. You are mobile and capable, bound not only geographically but also socially. Heading up. To better things. Finally, let me congratulate you on your consistency. Like a true social leviathan you don't ameliorate your excellent views when faced with the unworthy response of your victims, you broaden your targets and sneer your way to victory. I trust your girlfriend considers herself not so much partner, but acolyte and disciple.
  22. LOL! I'd have just said 'are you taking the piss?', and then my wife would have criticised me for being rude, and then I'd have made some comment about 'taking the shit not the piss', and then the rest of my day would have been about me being rude in public and nothing to do with whether it was okay to unload baby crap in public.
  23. Lothario? He flirts, or he shags and runs? ;-)
  24. I think Trev's solution is far more likely to find the original owner. How many times have people who have lost things gone to the police staion to report it? They'd laugh you out the door. This forum's read by 3,000 to 5,000 local-ish people, who likely as not may include or have encountered the guy who lost the iPod. That's much better odds.
  25. Terrific stuff Gen17, it's a testament to your proactivity!
