of course, it is all to slow traffic down , so that when the olympics start ( and the traffic works stop) then there will a minimal reduced journey time ( cynic- me?)
Am I the only person that wonders who on earth wants to go to a CHristmas fair in November??The weather is lovely outside its 15 degrees- can't people stop buying THINGS and just enjoy themselves and their family without all this " stuff"??( bah humbug!) Really- start in December if you have to post things by all means-but not this weekend!
Woman pilots a couple of times. Pilots who are not white men - at leat 50% of the time - but then I've only flown BA a few times- maybe thats their employment policy?
4 people can easliy lift a car and move it a metre- come one Eder's. When I was at school the busdriver often got the older boys to get off the bus and move cars onto the pavement so he could get parked.
I did start laughing out loud at the latest BA ad at the cinema recently - all men pilots- and all white- it was ok with the historic scenes- but when they panned to the current day and it was still all white male pilots and young beautiful air stewardesses I felt a bit embarrassed as they were serious. ::o
If it was 3 oclock aren't most children at schhol then? I know the CHarter finishes early but I wish for once the Police would come down hard on this sort of thing either at local schools or truants elsewhere. It is all too common.Schools could help a lot more than they do if someone coordinated it.Basically you have to give your kids a ?10 phone for school etc and let them keep a better one at home for all that messaging.
Can anyone recommend somewhere with a good lunchtime atmosphere on a Saturday for 4 adults to have a civilised leisurely meal on the South Bank? I wondered about places like the oxo tower/ royal festival hall but it has mixed reviews. Any good steers welcome as I am responsible for booking this?? ( shame Chez Bruce will be too far away....)
Some parents' pain threshold for screaming toddlers is much higher than mine.If mine played up I just used to pick them up , leave my shopping and take them outside/ home/ to the play park and then come back later. I wish some parents would do the same and not tough it out.
i think it is a case of treat others as you are treated. if you get a big bonus, and as your nanny enables you to do so ,then share it. but if you dont get a bonus then no- maybe an extra amount at christmas.
easy go to tesco and ask the nice man- I went to Elmers End and he was SO lovely he let me play with all the phones- including his Galaxy-if you are there you will have to make a decision . done.
