i think it is a case of treat others as you are treated. if you get a big bonus, and as your nanny enables you to do so ,then share it. but if you dont get a bonus then no- maybe an extra amount at christmas.
easy go to tesco and ask the nice man- I went to Elmers End and he was SO lovely he let me play with all the phones- including his Galaxy-if you are there you will have to make a decision . done.
If you are a 13 year old boy, its best to be playing a ball in a park than trying some "stuff" someones older brother has.I don't excuse them but they have to have space of their own.
I hear what you are saying about nursery etc but you might consider a nanny share with older children that are at school. Families with nannies and children at school welcome parttime baby nanny shares- your baby gets individual attention while older children are at school and the benefit of their company before and after school. Good nannies know where all the activity groups are and will socialise your baby. Just an idea.
I can't stop myself looking out for my recently stolen bike. Whenever I see someone on a bike or see bikes locked up I am looking for my bike. I miss it so much. Are all good bikes taken apart and made up into new ones ? I've looked on gumtree- is there anywhere else ( it wont turn up at a polices station) anyone has been successful? :(
imo its complete oppression of women. That is all it is. They can hide it and use religion as a screen but basically its oppression. Perpetrated by men.
its really hard to get someone to travel to your house for an hour here and there. i ended up taking mine to school and then getting a cleaner/housekeeper/carer to come at 2pm clean for 1.15 hours and then to pick up and stay for 2 hours-you can understand their position, this is the stage wehre if you have an au pair or a friedn has an aupair she under-utilises it can work very well for you. good luck with it.
or if you have a car you could always try a drive - ive spent many a 20 mins in a parked car with toddler asleep reading the paper........ or sometimes a nap every other day too.
i think there is some truth is what your husband says- but it is more likely that they were boys who did quite well to begin with, fell behind and then picked up later.
