respect that you have struggled through 9-10 hours of crying...I am assuming you live in a detached house!! maybe think about how she has slept before - what has set the sleep off? have you just let her drift off and then put her down or have you been "putting her down"? if you have never " put her down" for the set naps, then its REALLY HARD. I think its a good idea to spend more time in the nursery with her- playing there etc- making it a comfortable place. I am sure you will lots of advice on this forum.

I know I know-but the'd been there before-

We went to the Swan for saturday lunch and had a lovely table overlooking the river on the upper floor. The ambience and the service were very good, but I would have to say the food was not that special- the kind of food you can have at the Rosendale pub, so nice, but not memorable.

People have said it at the end of workshops/meetings too and I suppose I am fed up as I think maybe its a sideswipe that I should keep quiet . Anyway I'm feeling more positive about it now- I may even ask someone what they mean next time they say it!:)

I'm not going to get into discussing my body parts- people say "you're very natural" after a meeting- or when I have finished teaching a lesson ( training to teach TEFL).Thats all. Is it good? or is it a subtle swipe that I'm not as sophisticated as them? Maybe I'm reading too much into this- it's just not a phrase I have ever used. (?)

- this is true- but why do people say it? am I naive and unsophisticated and everyonenelse is two faced? Surely not. I always think everyone is like me - but maybe they are really scoffing?? why else are they saying it?

Why is baby rice and cereal less nutritious than breastmilk? i thought it had all sorts of things in that made it so good. iron etc.

babys dont come to order, but there is a point at which you dont use contraception- it may take a year or longer from that point- but many of us know woman that have relied on breastfeeding being a contraceptive and have babies 12 months apart- and that is tough.( to begin with anyway!)

sone tvs work so you can get the internet/ iplayer etc on them and I think thats the way to go.Sony and probably other makes too.

In terms of paying for childcare if you want to go back to work then 4 years is good IME. Also if you are going to be helping them in the future with university costs ( but who knows? ) then at least 3 is good too.
