  1. Well there is a stark difference between the 2. Was is more exclusive and expensive than the other. You just need to go to each at the end of the school day to decide. Also depends on what you intend doing for secondary school. It you are thinking of staying local and reverting to private school, Rosendale will not prepare you for the entrance exams so if you go to rosendale you will have to buy in a tutor - but you wont be the only one doing that. Rosemead shoud be abel to tell you which schools their past students have gone on to - although some children there might need a tutor too. There is no right choice. A lot of people would say go state- save the money and you can always top up with a tutor. some people prefer private- especially if they went private themselves. A nice problem to have!!

    .

ditto. it is to travel with so you can hang it up.
  3. I think you need to factor in the cost benefit of not going to a gym both in terms of time- and money. Keeping fit for ?2-?3 a week is pretty good.
  4. Wow. You would think they might keep them in a special draw then?
  5. charity shop?
  6. I really think it depends on how you are and how your ski instructor is- ie how inspiring they are. I had 1 to 1 10 years ago and it was great- 2.5 hours every morning. He had me doing 10ft drop jumps by the end of the week and skiing blues and greens.
  7. "slightly liberal opinion compared to nununoolio." and "Womanofdulwich. I can see from my last post that I may have come across as a Daily Mail reading, line 'em up against the wall and shoot 'em type."
  8. if you are getting married in the countryside you can use things like cow parsley. Are you thinking of planting stuff yourself to grow?
  9. mayebe those without babies will go there instead? The cafe in Peckham Rye park is great though?
  10. Don't you think the Harley Street place are shootign themwlves in the foot? I guess they can close and reopen under another name but they are reacting so badly to this its frightening. I would have thought they would be offerign somethign at a non profit cost just to restore confidence. Surely they could be offering something to these poor women. Its is frightening the lack of regulation. If the implants were so much cheaper than other ones would you not sniff there was something wrong?
  11. but bit not having gears does make it harder to start off again.
  12. I dont see why the NHS should replace these if they wsere put in privately. They are fundamentally not right- they will all need replacing at some stage and if the NHS had not done them in the first place they should not put anything back in. What do you think? What about having them taken out? should the NHS help in taking them out? Do you think that this will influence the demand for breast implants?
  13. >:D
  14. They probably were not wearing their rags, but charity shop clothes are much more expensive than jumble sale prices- they are sometimes more expensive than primark. I feel sorry for genuinely poor people. You are right of course they could have been raiding the bins and selling the stuff on e bay- but I think it is extremely unlikely. It is incomparable to drugs. Of course it is wrong but in the overall scheme of things it is minor. I think the good stuff goes direct to the shop- the clothes bank stuff is usually not so good. But that is just my experience. Maybe other residents of SE22 put their armami jackets in the clothes banks? If I cant be bothered to sell something on e bay- should I mind if someone else does- I think at least they are trying to get along and you need the money- have more time- than me. But thats just my slightly liberal opinion compared to nununoolio.
  15. i know someone who found they had to "go private" to begin and then move on to the state system once they were here.
  16. if they need things that badly I would leave them to it.
  17. quick work batman
  18. Save your money , draw the curtains and put the music on LOUD- get down to it- I recommend Robert ELms Friday show on Radio London- the funky music slot-
  19. My first ever nanny was first aid trained and she dealt with my son having a febrile convulsion and called me from hospital after she had got him there and he was being seen to. She was wonderful.
  20. Mellon Udrigle the beach is beautiful and there is a house on the beach called 'the beach house'. Will fit the bill perfectly.( Scotland and maybe sun but won't be HOT)
  21. Quite often there is the official line- we were 1.7km away and did not get in 7 years ago- in Spring , but by the end of October we had climbed up from 123 rd on the list to be offered a list. Plus all the people that for genuine reasons move plus all the others that have the balls to play the system- you would be surprised by the number of people you think have normal children pull out a load of reasons why they should get into a school. Parents getting divirced/ seperated and need the stability of staying with their friends etc etc etc.................
  22. i made these with "light" condensed milk and were as good as with normal condensed milk.
  23. My partner thinks she looks very "common".
  24. I love these nigella ones- but Im not sure what the calorific value of one is.
  25. Ironic that an Indian student in Salford has allegedly been shot dead by someone who wants to call themselves phycho, and that may be a racist murder too. Interesting to see how quickly case is tried in court.
