  4. I think 4.5 yrs is best. It is such a big thing you want it to be a good experience. No rushing out to toilet if possible,
  5. if you know what borough you are in it might be easier to search that way. St josephs is a secondary school for boys - it is in croydon but Bishop Thomas Grant is nearby- but in Lambeth. If you look up by Local authority it will tell you which primaries are catholic- can you ask at church?
  6. I do wonder if a quiet prius would settle them?
  7. I decided to buy a friends ticket with my christmas money - its ?100- you can go the exhibition as many times as you like with a guest at no additional cost. There are several exhibitions in a year- if you go enough times in a year with enough people- especially if a friend buys a similar for the tate etc- its good value for money.
  8. Old alleynians on the south circular between the Harvester and Dulwich College.Pop down at the weekend.
  9. Have you met an engineer? Everytime you go to a museum they have to look and read every single bloody thing. I spnet 4 hours in FLorence going round the Sceince museum. The only other peolpe there were a couple in their early 70's he was a retired engineer- and she like me was other half. Does this sound familiar??

  11. Cromer does not smell of crabs. Its up and coming don't ya know.
  12. :) I loved Sheffield. When it all gets a bit much I suggest we move to the outskirts of SHeffield and we get the best of both worlds- City- theatre/ art galleries/ snooker championships/ Peak district. The rest of my family always look at me as though I am mad.
  13. Tis gone I'm afraid.:'(
  14. In Cromer- ( not SE22) it smells of lily of the valley and talcum powder- maybe a bit of Tweed.Or possibly a hint of Brute/Blue stratos.
  15. Great memories of student life in Sheffield. All the extras in the crowd scenes were unpaid- you had to get up early on Sunday mornings to be part of Threads.
  16. Depends who works there ;-)
  17. Wolf Hall book Birkenstocks Jamie Oliver books Gordon Ramsey books Ugg boots
  18. So Huguenot- you earn a fair bit of money and you when you have an interview for a job you tell the person offering you a job they are stupid. I deduce you are a management consultant? Do I pass go and collect ?200?

  24. Well quids I have now said that I have had 100% success with all my grads qualifying. (tu)I have also instigated dept meetings etc despite much reluctance on the part of others and they are still happening after 10 years (tu)- I think that what you mean. But other things like patience, interest in people are not measurable.I am not going down the crying in the toilets bit! I googled skills based cv and that was really interesting- I had not heard of that and it makes much more sense . Modern job applications are pretty souless on the www. Especially if you haev not had to apply for a job for 20 years... Thanks everyone, especially Tuffy.
