Oh, yes, down the side return too - does anyone have a number for a gardener? I did some trimming in the front garden yesterday with Mrs Bob.
  3. Boun Natale - I said to Mrs Bob today we should tidy the front garden over the holidays, so it's as neat and tidy as the neighbours' have theirs.
  4. I've read in the Guardian that some families have Christmas traditions. My family doesn't have any 'traditions' at Christmas (unless always buying a round of Brie from the Cheese Block on Christmas Eve counts as one) - can anyone share theirs so I can see about emulating them in my family as well?
  5. I went to Bishops Offley Christmas Trees today with my family and we cut our own Christmas tree - a 5 1/2 feet Noble Fir with blue/green needles, lovely fragrance and only ?35 - I?m really pleased with it.
  6. I?ve got a postal ballot and it?s Lib Dem for me!
  7. ...and rationing, don?t forget that.
  8. I?ve dropped the organic pork medallions this year and arranged to go to the Crown & Greyhound in DV for lunch with my family. What about cheeses - what are the on-trend ones for Christmas 2019? The Kitchen Cabinet / Jay Rayner referred to ?Shropshire Blue? recently.
  9. Which constituency do I live in on Melbourne Grove? Maybe I should vote Green instead?
  10. I think I?ll vote Lib Dem, that what the barista on LL who does my morning coffee is doing, as are most customers in the craft beer shop on LL when I asked them.
  11. Yes, but I want to do what everyone else does - I don't want anyone thinking I haven't done the same as them, but I still want to be a liberal remainer.
  12. Where is Lord Buckethead standing this time?
  13. I want to vote the same as everyone else - basically I?m a liberal remainer - recommendations please?
  14. Bob Buzzard (according to Mrs Bob).

  17. Yes, I think marking the passage from light to dark in the Autumn is an ancient festival.
  18. Just in case anyone wants to know - the predominant towel type used by native Swedes on my visit was white and fluffy. And they all speak fluent English.
  19. My youngest son went out with his friends trick or treating this evening and someone gave him a Fry's chocolate cream! To an 11 year old boy? Who would do that? Surely it's just Haribos and such like tonight?
  20. Sleep

  22. Aren't they part of the debt-ridden Pizza Express?
  23. ...and they have those proper bottles of olive oil - the cold first pressings of extra virgin from Emilia-Romagna for about ?16 - so none of those greasy vegetable oils.
  24. Thank goodness for that - Mrs Bob won't need to go to food shopping to Beckenham anymore.
  25. Altered priorities ahead - at last someone knows who I am!
