Ah, that sounds much nicer than eating chicken liver - that?s a good suggestion, thank you. Will they stock those at the fishmonger in Nunhead?
  4. Is it actually made of chickens? livers though? The thought of that is off-putting. Maybe I need to reconsider my new interest? I could just go back to craft beers instead.

  6. What do tonsures have to do with p?t?s?
  7. P?t? - cool.

  9. No, I wanted to buy some, but don't know what to buy.
  10. I bought some red onion marmalade the other day, and it says it's great with pates. This made me think I should get into pates as I normally only have cheese (from The Cheese Block). What's a good 'starter' pate for getting into pates?
  11. I have a plan now - my brother and his son are visiting us from Crystal Palace Road, Epic quieter fireworks in the garden, then we'll a dress up in Halloween costumes and walk around ED, and everytime we see a pumpkin I'll give the kids some sweets.
  12. I'm just planning ahead to Halloween -do you think we'll be able to go out trick and treating? I went to the supermarket the other day and they were still selling the little pumpkin pots for collecting sweets. My brother and his son are planning to come up and visit from Crystal Palace Road, but I wonder whether we best just stay in that evening?
  13. I think the branch in Oakengates is still open.
  14. How true - thank you.
  15. Saxophone is better as you don?t get the joke initially, then laugh out load.

  17. Can you have a dash of milk? I thought it was alwAys a splash?

How big are those splash of milk jugs?
  19. Does anyone know where you can get one of those pinch of salt measurers/dispensers? I like to follow recipes exactly when I cook so need to have correct amounts of ingredients. I enquired at that shop on LL but they looked befuddled when I asked, but I do like shopping locally if possible.

  21. Oh ok, I probably don't need to worry then. I haven't been in their (small) house or anything like that anyway.
  22. My wife is vegan, soya milk and replacement mayo and all that.

  24. My neighbour down the road has infective rhinitis, coughing occasionally - should I get a test?
