Where can you get the vegan craft butter? I presume they use almond or soya butter?
  2. Today I got some nice spring flowers in Waitrose for ?10 and also two bunches of tulips for ?5.

I don't tend to go out of ED much, though I did go to a 50th birthday party just over the hill in Sydenham last Saturday!

I really want some craft butter - are the butters in the General Store and Mons crafted or manufactured butters?

  6. Does the Chesse Block sell craft butter? I just read an article in the Guardian about small batches of craft butter which people spread on artisan bread - it sounds lush - much nicer than that President butter from Normandy.
  7. I take my dog either for a walk on the village green or the Village Hall field.
  8. Eating approx. 80g of porridge oats daily gives you sufficient beta glucans to improve your lipid profile.
  9. In lieu of the PM deferring the Brexit vote we decided to hold a substitute vote in our house instead. I'm a Green Lib Dem so I voted against the deal and voiced support for a People's vote, my wife also voted against the deal and supported a People's vote, as did our three kids. The dog (a small Jack Russell) abstained. Hopefully this helps to clarify things and we can just get on with things now.
  10. Great, thanks for that info re: the food bank in ED on Barry Road. I did a Bing search and only came up with Peckham, so was worried that there was no food bank in ED. I have Windows 10 on my computer as my OS, but I find when I use Google for searching it keeps asking me to install the Google Chrome bowser, but that doesn't seem to work too well with Windows 10, so I just use Microsoft Edge as my bowser and Bing as my search machine.
  11. Is there a food bank in East Dulwich? I think there's one in Peckham, but what about for people in ED? Food banks are really important for some people, especially with the delays that are occurring with Universal Credit payments and the focus on austerity.
  12. EDF is best. I like ED so much that I never leave its bounds, apart from when I go on holiday in my caravan to the Fort each summer. Every morning I walk the bounds of ED with my dog.

Ok, but where can you buy a mould of a massive salmon?
  14. I found oversize marshmallows were the most popular on Halloween.
  15. Haribo sours
  16. There?s also ?Little Dolphins? at JAGS where they learn snorkelling, then move onto scuba once they?re a little older and can swim without armbands (but that?s probably not very ?sporty? is it)?
  17. I can?t fit it in though, I?ve got a dishwasher already.
  18. There?s a group called ?Little Kickers? I used to take my son to - can?t remember what age that starts at, but it?s meant for little ones.

  21. I read in the latest Waitrose food magazine that massive salmons can be cooked in the dishwasher! Is that true?
  22. I?m planning to drive there in my Volvo estate and to park in a back street in Camden.
  23. Good, glad to hear that, I?ll. be able to walk about ED unimpeded.
