  1. Horrible amounts of smoke. Incredibly anti-social. Meat cooked out in the open - lock up your meat boys and girls... This is superb. Over some people having fun, enjoying a bbq :'-D
  2. Oh, and i'll probably be bbq-ing tonight Rendelharris. Welcome to join.
  3. if it bothers you. go and tell them. They'll be considerate and put it out, and stop it, or call you out for being a daft chap with little else to worry about than a bit of smoke.
  4. you're telling me you've never had a bbq? Through fear of how the smoke may affect neighbours... Stop enjoying yourselves folks. How dare you!

As for cooking on charcoal. Get over it. Some people enjoy it, who are you to stop them.
  6. Louisa - great trolling. What about BBQs?
  7. I think the lights are great. Can't comment on the noise, don't live close enough for it to bother me.
  8. The bay windows are in, and oh my gosh, they look tragic... It's such a shame such poor quality housing was allowed on this site.

  10. Lost a hiplok bike lock in Peckham Rye Park on 25th May. Black with velcro and material cover, heavy duty padlock.
  11. bikes chained to railings a hazard... yeesh i've heard everything.
  12. I'd suggest that it's impossible. That way she never has to move in...

Think you need to go for a walk, to let off some steam. There used to be a cracking cemetery for that, just off Underhill Road.

  16. Work has started again. They've built up the bays. Still look terrible. Nothing like the surrounding houses, and the bricks and finishes are poor quality.
  17. Another succinct response that fails to address key issues in the argument
  18. whilst they're at it they could take a look at resurfacing the eastbound Peckham Road. It's not fit for purpose, with more potholes than good bits of road. It is safer to cycle out in the road than down it, and then you have impatient cars wondering why you're not cycling in the cycle lane.
  19. is this the new block beside the Potager? Or am I getting confused? Because they look nothing like these plans or the adjoining victorian terrace. It's mainly the brick choice that's awful.
  20. They don't need to be finished to tell how they're going to turn out... Even when finished they are going to look awful. Poor brick choice, odd layout, horrible windows. Just all round not in keeping with the road or area.
  21. awful looking things
  22. smooth as a whistle now. Much safer cycling.

Have plenty of cats, plenty of birds in our garden. Works just fine.
