  1. Jeez, this Davis bloke should be on the Archers arguing with Jim.
  2. If he stood as an independent fair enough but if elected as a Labour MP he would be betraying the people who voted Labour. selhurst Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Like Frank Field and other MPs sitting as > Independents?
  3. Those MP's are a disgrace and having left the parties they were voted in for should resign and have a by election.

  10. From my niece who works in a hospital in Africa: ? ?If two men in a world of more than 7 billion people can provide ?300million to restore Notre Dame, within six hours, then there is enough money in the world to feed every mouth, shelter every family and educate every child. The failure to do so is a matter of will, and a matter of system. The failure to do so comes from our failure to recognise the mundane emergencies that claims lives all around us every single day. Works of art and architectural history and beauty rely on the ingenuity of people, and it is people who must be protected above all else. Brick and mortar and stained-glass might burn, but they do not bleed, and they do not starve, and they do not suffer. Humans suffer. Everywhere in the world, from Paris to Persepolis, people are suffering. But their suffering is every day. It does not light up a front page, and it does not inspire immediate donations from the world's wealthiest men.?

  13. What was the email?
  14. I had an almost identical email and don't have a camera but it did say "one of your passwords is caroline1". I once fell for a scam and signed in to a site that was supposed to be AOL. They emailed all my contacts pretending to be me having been robbed in Egypt and asking for money. So that email account and the old password must have been sold on recently.
  15. Labour Party mired in hatred and antisemitism Do you have any evidence for this statement?

    Radiation

Old style cathode ray tubes could emit x-rays very weakly which had a short range caused by the sudden deceleration of the electron beam as the electrons struck the phosphorus. No such worries now. I used to put aluminium foil on the front of the screen to watch the sparks and enjoy the ozone. I got over it eventually.
