Noise complaints on oakhurst grove - 6.45pm Saturday 15th May
Chick replied to T.Aurora's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
yes and the people in Oakhurst wanted to enjoy their garden on a Saturday night at 6.45. I heard this music and it wasn't loud. -
Bee keeping disaster. Last summer I got a new colony which was very weak. After one week the queen disappeared so I let nature run it?s course and after six weeks we had a new egg laying queen. They were weak and I didn?t expect them to make it through the winter so I fed them fondant all winter, a mixture of honey and pollen which looks like marzipan. I checked them two weeks running and they were producing queen cells which means they are about to swarm. The old queen disappears with half your hive and a new queen emerges and starts all over. I decided to split the hive and give half to my sister in law who had given me a colony two years ago. I split them and put the spare colony in a poly-nuc and set off for Suffolk. The journey took 4.5 hours instead of two. My mistake was driving at that time of day and too many bee?s in the nuc. When I got to Suffolk they had cooked and about 90% were dead. If the frames of brood survive it might have a fighting chance but I am not optimistic. Dumb dumb dumb.

Well I have just been to Sainsbury on DKH and at the start of the bus lane there?s a camera warning sign. If there were more like this I would be less inclined to think it?s about revenue or even partly about revenue. I think initially the cameras? in Dulwich village were sending out written warnings before they started to fine people so it?s possible

Thanks for posting LoulaRose. I have signed. It was a massive march very diverse and peaceful. https://www.palestinecampaign.org/get-involved/join-renew-membership/?fbclid=IwAR3GllKtSW4LI6ZwwbB43R0aaH0ywmsDyOuOg-mGZLuq8SabgTG-iwpdV3s From JFJFP: https://jfjfp.com/stop-the-carnage-tell-israel-it-must-end-the-occupation-or-face-consequences/

I didn?t advocate entering a box junction when your exit is blocked and I certainly don?t drop litter and am a careful and courteous driver. I think copping a ?65.00 fine for straying into the bus lane on the way to Sainsbury on DKH is unreasonable, a written warning for a first offence would be reasonable. You are unnecessarily aggressive. I wonder if you be so aggressive face to face? You are a keyboard bully.

Wednesday night book club - the Clockhouse at 7.30 to 8.00

Just a reminder! May 26th 8.00pm. -
As I said it's not about safety just revenue.
-
This is about raising revenue not public safety.
-
Not in particular, I just don't think it's right that the council can fine you for minor transgression's. I also saw one in Greenwich where a box junction appeared which wasn?t necessary and a camera pointing straight at it. That one was obviously entrapment.

Thanks for this info. I have had one where the contravention is 19/01/21 the PCN is 19/04/21. They really are extracting the urine and I will now contest ti. Cheers.
