  1. You are a JPG a holic CC.
  2. Absolutely right Matt. But then I have been telling my mate at work that for years. I met a friend of a friend at Christmas and we were debating Liverpool - I was doig my usual "Rafa bashing" (anna's words) and on leaving I said it might work out for the best and you might have Martin O Neill by the end of the season. He said "hold on a minute - things are not that desperate yet". I just can't understand why anyone would prefer Rafa football to MON football. I also think MON will be one of the front runners should Rafa leave - I think he's a Liverpool fan and has always wanted the job. I think he would bring a bit of excitement back to Anfield. Who would you like as a new manager?
  3. Huguenot - You may have valid concerns but I think you have played your part in giving this guy the oxygen of publicity with you many posts on this thread. I also take exception to your earlier comment that Justin was dealing with schoolchildren on this thread - the obvious implication being that you are so much more intelligent that everyone else who has posted. Once again a thread has become a bit nasty - Too many people are passive aggresive - surely we can accept that we can have a good debate/argument without there having to be a "winner". It does not have to be a fight to the death every time. Surely.
  4. Surely even anna will agree now that rafa has had his time and has to go. He has not been good for the club and liverpool deserve better.
  5. Where is robbie keane when you need him? Liverpool leaving it late.
  6. Trial by jury can be neatly sidestepped if the authorities think necessary: Non-jury trials, however, may still be used in Northern Ireland, as elsewhere in the UK, but only in exceptional cases Link

When insulted, count to a few thousand, kick the cat, punch the wall, scream "woof you cheeky fecker" at the top of your voice..... And then post a little fun remark to show us all how relaxed and easy going you are....:)
  8. Oooh... There may be trouble ahead Moonlight and dancing....
  9. Have just watched Film 2010 and found Jonathan Ross completely engaging - I think he is a big loss to the Beeb. Those who complain about the cost of the licence fee will see no reduction after he leaves so will see no saving. But if he goes to Sky we will pass a prime asset to Murdoch. Those who can afford ?40 a month will see him and those who cannot will be deprived. I'm all in favour of the Beeb using our money to get the best - so that we can ALL see the best.

Not convinced by that GG. The tories in the 1980s gagged Sinn Fein and prevented them speaking in any visual media in England or the UK. So we are not going back 100 years - 20 maybe. [i'm not intending to change the subject - just challenging that particular point - please continue...]
  11. Yep - its amazingly slow - do they realise the disruption this is causing? Unbelievable.
  12. I guess he means relevant questions Sue....you can't just say "yes" surely.

  14. Its a bit like whisky and whiskey, Jah. Shakespeare was a genius - James Joyce was a genious.
  15. Leave your wife at home charliecharlie - you will be sure to come home to a warm house in the evening. Not sure how she does it.
  16. Damian Hirst?
  17. Atila, I just think some debates could remain a little more light hearted and in general you personally could be less negative towards other posters. It often gets personal with you. We all get challenged by others at times and it is often best to count to 10 or change tack/try a different line of argument.

  19. Great news Iain. Hugs all round.

  21. Quids must have slept in today.

Keef Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > > The likes of *bob* and David are able to stick up > for themselves, and if they find Atila that out of > order, they can report him. > Keef - Its not about bob and David. Its about being able to read an interesting thread without it being littered with FFS and WTF etc and generally aggressive comments.
  23. Give it a rest Atila. You are more annoying than all the people who have been banned put together. IMO.
  24. whoops -they paid 27 of which 25 was the bill and 2 went to the waiter. No missing pound.
  25. The following year..... 1977 European Cup Final - Liverpool Borussia Munchengladbach Borussia had some great players it seems, Bonhoff, Simonsen, Vogts etc. I don't think I have seen it since 1977 - But it seems a really good game and a good win for Liverpool. Nice to see them get their hands on the big one (10 years after Celtic..)
