  1. Wonder what he will call himself next. I do think however that only having a negative reporting enables the "easily offended" to make it look like someone is not wanted, when in fact he is very popular. If we had a "rate this post" button, I'm sure he would be a top performer. .
  2. How can a woman work a full day and still be home in time to have her husband's dinner on the table - you see, Steve T is right.

  4. Ruffer >>> "Errrrr, the drinks aisle is at the back of the store....." Georgia said this was announced when the incident was elsewhere in the store..ie not at the drinks aisle at the back of the store...clever clogs. ;-) Anyway at the end of the day - as some people have stated, children should be protected from this type of thing and not have to witness attempted murder. Sainsbury's IMO should protect their customers from something of this nature taking place in their stores by suggesting they move to a safe area. Surely that is common sense.

Sorry - but I have to disagree. Asking staff to move to a safe area protects staff whilst failing to protect customers, which is just wrong. And its not the blame game - By looking closely at how these situations are dealt with, we can deal with them better in future. If I was a customer there with a child, I'd like to have been told to move to a safe area of the store.
  6. This is horrific and perhaps some sort of gang incident. It would appear to me that security should have attempted to resolve this before it got to the stabbing with a bottle stage - it seems clear from the earlier in store announcement that this incident had been building up inside the store for some time. Perhaps the announcement should have advised the shoppers to move to the other side of the store rather than just sainsbury staff, surely efforts should have been made to prevent shoppers and their children having to witness this type of attack. If the announcement had stated that police had been called it might have encouraged these youths to take their issues elsewhere. Well done Nikki, very brave and perhaps you did save a life.
  7. I think GG's 1989 championship winning team was good to watch. Rocastle on one wing, Brian Marwood on the other. Michael Thomas and Paul Davis were a relatively cultured midfield. Merson up front - some good footballers and a strong defence. Then you had Perry Groves.....

  9. And you can see a similar view from the balcony at Dulwich Golf Club. Lovely views for a beer and lunch in summer.
  10. Georgie Graham's a Gooner, he wears a Gooners hat.....
  11. I have a friend who supports Leeds. When he has had a few drinks he seems unable to say "Leeds" without following it with "champions of europe" ...
  12. Sido - do you think you may have a smiley addiction? :)

In 1999 they were the best team in the competition without doubt, but Bayern should have won the final, if only because Keane and Scholes were missing. Had MU they been full strength they might have won comfortably.

Yes - it was a very good team performance - Celtic were more classy and more determined - played a high intensity passing game - if only for the finishing... > (remember how United only lost to Barcelona in CL > final because their dynamic midfield maestro was > banned). That's what MU fans like to believe, but to be honest they were outclassed that night.
  16. Celtic shots on target about 10 to rangers 1. But no excuse for not taking chances. Celtic have one player who takes his chances and he was on the bench for 70 minutes. Not understanding the need to have a proper goalscorer on the pitch is celtics biggest mistake. Rangers will be pleased as they had some key players out. Aiden McGeady was unplayable today.
  17. Had winner at cheltenham on Wolf Moon couple of days ago at 7/2 it was tipped in the telegraph. With kauto that makes 2 in a row and will go for the treble with celtic to win today against the Gers at 5/4.
  18. Have not opened clip but im guessing its 1980?

  21. I see - as you have been through it all before I'd have thought you would feel you had a lot of time now. That's what I#m looking forward to in 20 years time! Maybe it does not work that way - with whatever we have on our plate we never seem to have enough time.

How about you??? You have not even mentioned kids...they take up a lot of time, so be prepared.
