I think you should stay in and give me your babysitter's number so i don't have to watch Jules for the 7th year in a row. Actually Jules is good but can he beat the year he had Duffy and Kylie on the same show - that was nice.

  15. K star showed today that is one of the greats and the winning distance showed he was not too short in the betting. The big gambler types would have been throwing their hats in the air today in traditional fashion. If you had backed it Quids, you might have had an excuse to get rid of yours ...
  16. Merry Christmas - Santa takes break from building complicated games table to sip his whisky and eat a mince pie. Happy Christmas all.
  17. He's the Boss.....
  18. I'm more a Debbie Harry guy, defo. And the music too.
  19. I watched that whole clip waiting to see what it was they were going to win and in the end....nout. West Hams seemed to have a load of good players then, Tevez, Benyoun, Zamora, Bowyer - what a team. Why did you sell them all?
  20. Declan Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Woods is a good choice if not the best....but > there must be others Yes - there are others Declan, that's what the thread's about ;-)- tell me yours and why. No categories, just say why your choice is best.

Her songs just frustrate me as it seems they are about to speed up, but never do. Like a long joke with no punchline. Glad you don't like her.
  22. I think he meant Rip van winkle Declan. Well Radio 5 (East Dulwich shall ignore their decision) have made Bolt the top sporting achievement...... I like MPs list - I'd add Tiger Woods as, ignoring recent personal developments, he has been the most determined single minded sporting achiever for me. His opponents broke one after another when they saw his name on the leaderboard - nerveless determination sets him apart.
  23. Radio 5 is part way through a debate on this - But what do they know, let's have our own debate. I'd firstly propose Roger Federer as the dominant tennis player through the decade and having achieved a career grand slam that so few have achieved. Any other nominations? As I have started the thread I'd like to say that it can be a one off achievement that stands out significantly or a period of dominance eg Federer.
