  2. A black cat has been found this morning by the roadside on East Dulwich Grove close to the corner of Townley Road on the left hand side going towards Herne Hill. I dont suppose it will be there long so if you are missing a black cat then contact the council. Thanks to the people who got in touch thinking it was Squiggly re other posting re small all black female cat missing but it wasn't her. I am so very sorry if this is your cat. Maria

  4. Alas it wasn't squiggly so we are still on the look for her but reassured by the fact that the folk of east Dulwich are so responsive. Thank you. Just to be clear. Squiggly really is all black with no white on at all. Thanks again for everyone's help so far.
  5. We have now had a picture and number of possible sitings of squiggly around zenoria street and tintagel crescent. If you live around there or passing near the goose green roundabout area please keep a look out for her. Do get in touch thanks. Maria

  7. Thanks to everyone who has thought they have seen our Squiggly but we are still looking for her and it is a week ago today that she went missing - so please do keep a look out and check your sheds etc. We miss her terribly as does her brother Charlie
  8. Hi there we are looking for someone to clean and iron as our cleaner has moved. We live near goose green in east Dulwich and need someone for 3.5-4 hours for ?35. Come and volunteer at the Stepping Stones charity allotment Plot 143, Stuart Road allotments Saturday 4th July 10am-3pm - come anytime Stepping Stones is a South London charity that provides educational, social, and leisure services for adults with learning disabilities www.stepping-stones-project.co.uk. We run regular horticultural therapy sessions at our allotment near Peckham Rye designed for participants to learn how to grow organic food together and to promote physical activity outdoors. This helps our gardeners develop life and social skills, whilst building confidence and most importantly having fun. Do you have an hour or so to help weed, build raised beds, etc? Refreshments provided.   11. Missing small, young, all black female cat with yellow/orange eyes called Squiggly. Last seen in Crawthew Grove/Spurling Road on Thursday 25th June at 5pm. She is quite timid but friendly and wearing a silver patterned collar with bell and half an id tag. Likely to be hiding somewhere please help us find her. Thanks Please call/text Maria 07964280576

  13. Fantastic bread (as always and my fav) however coffee was luke warm, staff disorganised (excused as first day) and a great space if you have children and a pushchair as loads of space. Im sticking to Toasted for my coffee as they know their coffee and make it perfectly.

  21. They had a tasting on last night that's why. I ate there lady night and it certainly redeemed itself in terms of service (despite being busy) and food. Excellent on both fronts. Imaginative menu and great wine list at all price points. would highly recommend it. Well done toasted for getting it right! Just what we need locally and a great buzz.

  23. Grow your own fruit and veg course Only ?3 per session and share of the harvest Learn about keeping an allotment/ growing your own with hands on experience at the Stepping Stones allotment. If you can?t get an allotment as the waiting lists are too long or just want to learn about growing your own fruit and veg then come and join us. We run hands on sessions on an allotment near Peckham Rye with two experienced gardeners. We grow a variety of veg and fruit and you can learn how to grow food in a sociable and supportive atmosphere. We have different themes each week and you will get some hands on allotment experience as we are developing the plot. The sessions are open to all adults including those with learning disabilities and we currently have several members of . Tea and coffee will be provided just bring your own packed lunch. We are currently running the following sessions and you can sign up for one or all of these sessions (subject to availability). Individuals and other local community groups welcome.
