  1. I've had to step in the road many times today, people ignoring the 2 metre rule altogether. Doesn't the caf? have to close? Guess it was takeaway..
  2. Totally. Felt hugely uncomfortable in a small, really well stocked indie deli the other day

I think that comment about joining a book group was aimed at Natty

  8. CEO of Sainsbury's emailed all customers to ask them to curb panic buying. Saying their stocks are healthy but they need to get it out quicker!

It's all very well calling out selfish g*ts in queues, the supermarkets are the ones who need to crack down on this type of panic buying.

  15. I'll PM you, used to volunteer with FareShare and it was so rewarding, literally handing over food to people in need.
  16. Whereabouts in Peckham please?

Salads are unimaginative and only white pasta is served, although they do great fish dishes.
  18. A couple in Melbourne Grove are the same. I would be horrified, there's enough artificial light disturbing sleep as it is! Although report a couple of main road lampposts not working and nothing's done..
  19. Thanks to all, boiler guy coming Sunday!

  22. I posted a while ago and asked for tips to combat high pressure readings. The solution (bleeding radiator) does work but I seem to be trapped now in a pattern of too high/low. I'm guessing a service is in order but has anyone any tips for keeping a boiler pressure happy? It's put on in the morning and turned off/low for the day until the evening when it's turned up.

  24. I'm not sure if there is another term for this. I have a large, light airy room with double height ceiling. I'm really keen to erect some kind of green wall with living plants and wondered if anyone here had done the same? Looking for hints and tips. Or photos if you would be willing to share?
