They're everywhere. I had to move one that was entirely blocking a pavement on a street off LL so a geezer who uses a wheelchair should get by. I've changed my tune. I now think they should only be allowed to be parked in designated bays. The companies and the riders are taking the piss. The council should just confiscate and auction the ones abandoned across pavements.

Sometimes I like to go out and spend an hour or two walking in circles around the Goose Green roundabout zebra crossings with my Irish setter, Barthomley. It's great exercise and the kids like to count how many circuits we do!

There was a similar problem with temporary lights all being red a few months ago on Dulwich Village. I wonder if the "failsafe" for flawed setup is that they all go red.

Unfortunately fascists tend to be annoyingly persistent. They're not like spaniels that will just lose interest if you ignore them for long enough.

Clearly the solution is to add a second southbound lane to Peckham Rye. And a northbound lane too. Practically no-one walks along that strip of grass anyway. In fact, if the council were a bit more ambitious, the whole park could be converted into a high speed roundabout like Elephant and Castle 👍

Christ on a bike. I'm not the biggest fan of the police, but none of us have any idea why the cops were there. They don't sound like they were telling OP off for anything, and there's no reason to assume they were only there to tell off dog walkers. None of us know that they weren't simply there doing a bit of patrolling in between more urgent calls.

Not only that, but a Japanese restaurant two doors down from...another Japanese restaurant. The last time I went to Wagamama in town (a colleague chose) they got our orders completely wrong, and the place was empty.

It's not really new, but Organic Village has reopened after its renovation.
