  1. I donated until I went back to work But I will up my expressing and freeze some extra for the bank if they really are so short Those who are worried about the practicalities, might be worth calling to see if they can tSke your blood at home It is such a worthwhile thing to do Even an ounce is enough tO benefit the tiny babies who might take just 5ml at a time It's really hard for many mothers of Prem babies to establish and maintain their supply ESP if they don't live near to kings and have to travel into London just to see their baby
  2. I would ask the nursery for the name of their contact at the council I dont honestly see that the council is correct to withdraw the funding Have you signed any sort of funding agreement with the nursery re the 15h?
  3. How old is he? If it's only tiny quantities it Problably doesn't matter which Formula is based on cows milk anywAy though lower in sodium I think Still has cows milk protein though, if that's a concern If you don't bother with cereal but go straight to fruit and veg then it won't be an issue I haven't met a baby who actually likes the stuff!
  4. Seems to be getting better now Thank goodness
  5. I seem to be able to calm one side but then the other gets all uncomfy again. Where are twins when you need them, eh!!
  6. If the baby settles better in s swing than Cot it sort of leans towards reflux or heartburn being partly at fault
  7. I prob would be a bit cautious with gluten or oats then, as well as dairy And avoid tomatoes There has been a bit of debate about the best time to intrOduce gluten but I think the latest is still 6m plus and while still bf In your case it makes sense to wait till after allergy testing Initial solids are not particularly calorific though Avocado maybe might be good if you feel she is hungry
  8. Feeling quite fluey still Great :-( Baby is stuffed to the gunnels with milk already.. think more pumping is on the agenda
  9. It could well continue for a loooooong time I think you are certainly safe for a few weeks

  11. Superkids do something
  12. Loulou, stick to fruit and veg, avoid gluten and dairy. She is 6m yes?
  13. Your baby has gone down for his morning nap and it's not even 8 am yet!'
  14. Have expressed 12oz and now feeding madly It's just typical that one early night (Nd I think I might have slept through some of baby's mutterings as wasn't well) ends up being punished
  15. If the upstairs room at dulwich isn't used weekend afternoons I wonder if library book themed parties could be offered
  16. I find the library very responsive and they hsve bought books suggested I think maximising lettings for their rooms upstairs and maybe. Season ticket allowing free use of DVDs and other VIP facilities might be one approach while still keeping the library free to all It would be a shMe to see reduced opening or lOse a library
  17. A battery operated swing might help you out Very good for jiggling up wind and would give you a break
  18. Not an expert on it but many babies struggle with wind lying down Colief is something you can add to formula to part digest the lactose There are thickened formulas or baby gaviscon can Help with reflux If it was a problem with the cows milk protein I guess it would manifest round the clock I think i would consider a change of formula and possibly prop his cot a little
  19. I usually express before bed to prOvide milk for the freezer for work days Didn't feel well last night and got an early night instead and my reward this morning is - familiar fluey feeling of mastitis Bloody great Let's hope lots of expressing and feeding plus some paracetemol will see it off.
  20. It would probsbly do no harm to Introduce some Other comfort items/ sleep Cues if not in use already
  21. Is he st nursery? What do they thInk... Do they have speech therapy time?
  22. I think 4m is a bit of a crunch End of newborn sleep Teething starts Growth spurt Wonder week 19 No wonder many people Try early weaning
  23. Tbh the only pool I have ever been refused entry with 2 is Peckham though we have never tried dulwich
  24. Oh no Poor you Is he breastfed or formula?
  25. Not everything sg but dribbling, chewing on hands and tugging at ears are the give away signs IME and can Precede the actual teeth eruption by weeks, if not months
